I think he'll end up either with us or City.
Very good player. Surprised Chelsea haven't tried to sign him yet.
At 30m United should consider taking him. 50m for a player in his final year with questionable attitude etc isn't a wise move for United.
Something tells me there's still some skeletons in his closet which will come out and lead to another lengthy ban in the not to distant future. Just a hunch.....
We don’t need Toney. We need to spend money elsewhere.
We already have 2 strikers. Very few teams have 3 out and out strikers these days.
He’s after a massive last big payday it seems which is why he looks Saudi bound.
He’s also good but not as good as you and some on here portray him to. E.
Supposedly Arsenal didn't fancy him because of his attitude. And I imagine there's some truth to that, because pretty much all the top clubs in the league have been looking for a striker this window and none have gone for him. Can't see it happening now.
Think he'll end up in Saudi.

This.
We need to spend the little money we have and might be able to generate through sales firstly on midfield and secondly at LB.
Ugarte looks like it might end up being a loan with obligation to buy, which tells us all we need to know about where we are at with PSR.
Arsenal just don't fancy him by the feel of it, not an Arteta type of signing. United have strikers. Chelsea was Osimhen. Spurs opted for Solanke.
Can see why he would consider Saudi, but surely if he wants to play for England again he should just do 1 last season with Brentford and then get a massive contract on a free transfer
Whilst we’re on strikers I read this this morning.
37 year old Jamie Vardy got relegated, then got promoted again, and still has the same number of PL goals as Antony
He's too old for the mandatory 8 year contract at Chelsea

Either Saudi or sees his contract out. We won’t be signing Toney when we have already signed two strikers in the last 12 months for a combined £90m+. You need to let it go.
Doesn't look like the big clubs are interested, Spurs spent more and went for Solanke who's only 18 months younger. I did read that the bigger clubs are worried by his poor first touch and that he's far better suited for a lower club, no idea how true that is but there has to be a reason no one seems to want him.
Also question marks over his attitude, again no idea.
I'm also more convinced Osimhen isn't gonna do much if he gets his move, which will be great to see at Chelsea as well as Lukaku going the other way and kissing the Napoli badge and talk about how they have always been his favourite club to then complain 12 months later and have the ultras hate him.
The move would also seemingly give Napoli the funds to buy McTomminay.

Ugarte -> United
Sancho -> Chelsea
And everyone is happy.

Yes, but nobody cares about them.
I reckon Napoli fans will like him to begin with, fans over there lose their sh-t buying any crap. Not quite to the level of Turkish fans but not far.
Really not what we need so would be a big waste of £45-£50m we don't have. As others have said, other areas are far more important. He's also not the kind of player we've been trying to sign, at 28 now, there's not much resale value either.
On a free next year if we need him then I wouldn't be against it. Not now though. Not when there's a 27yo France international striker available on a free.
For some reason I also think Toney is quite an unlikeable character. If he were sensible he'd see out his final year and get a free next season where I'm sure a big club would snap him up.
We're skint. And we need two midfielders and a left back before we need a third striker.

Was discussing this in the office today.
But strange no-one has snapped him up really. Even West Ham look a good fit.
Lots of rumours of him going to Saudi now.
Seems no one wants to take a gamble on him. Ironic.
