Good first half and RAN showing what he can do when he doesn't have to defend. Having more shots than Chelsea and could have had a couple more. Wouldn't be surprised to see Neto soon.

Whatever the results today, three things are standing out imo. 1) RAN is not a LB, 2) Hwang needs to be dropped or sold. Why we never took that good deal is beyond me and 3) We have to switch back to a back 3. We're giving away far too many silly goals.

RAN is way off defensively at the moment. Mich better than what we are seeing. He has to start though so with that in mind maybe a back 3 has to come back

He's never been a decent defender in my book. He's actually wasted in that position, plus we loaned out a very promising LB in Hugo Bueno. This back 4 is not working, simple.

Presumably the plan is another defender and moving Toti across to LB and RAN moving forward. Can't see GON changing it unless we don't get a defender this week. Have to assume also that GON thinks Dawson isn't 100% yet.

Just one change - Dawson in for Hwang. Replacing a forward with a defender and yet I’m sure we will be a more attacking force. Chelsea were very mediocre never a team that should have scored 6.

Absolutely shocking. Saw the best and worst of Ait-Nouri today, far too much of the latter unfortunately.

No, I have seen RAN defend very well for several years. Right now he is a mile off, zero doubt, but seems clear to me that it is more than just him suddenly being a crap defender.

To me, he seems a little lost as to his role at times now, dunno if that is in part due to him being pushed forward more the last year or so and even in pre season it was said Lemina would drop in and RAN would be freer, but that just doesn't look like it is working thus far.

Hwang is shocking...period. I agree with Wulfrunnut and I wish we'd sold him when we had the chance. Maybe there's pressure from the owners to play him, but he's been crap for far too long now.

Mosquera, Dawson and Toti as a back 3 and push RAN to his best position as a wing back, has to be the answer against Forest.

Just don't see us doing it against Forest. Thing is we should be flexible, i think a back four even in todays guise is fine against plenty of teams but not against the better ones like the last two weeks.

Lemina dropping in to the middle and Toti pushing wide when RAN goes forward isn't working at all, too many moving parts.
