So in summary, he's not happy about the situation, but used to it.

Strange Celtic are going into this week in position of still wanting to add new player, but hopefulyou don’t get Isaksen think he’d do very well in Scotland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Linked with a couple of Danish players - it's almost as though we are trying to compensate for something?

BR … “ I get that it's frustrating but experience tells me to be patient and we'll judge it when the market closes.”

Experience tells ME that we can have all the patience in the world, but our ridiculously last minute approach will continue, and we’ll end up doing nowhere near enough to address well known glaring weaknesses. I give you the previous 2 transfer windows, which were easily amongst the worst recruitment in the club’s history. Also why Idah looks weeks away from full match sharpness, when he could have been signed way earlier and had a full pre-season with us, instead of pwicking about with a derisory £4.5m offer then 2 months later caving in and paying double. Yes, we’ll see where we are come Fri night, but we’ve all seen this movie many times before.

We’ve moved on from using Brendan’s phonebook to using Kasper’s

We could have sold MOR at the start of the window for £20m and got better value than we'll get now for whatever part of it we're planning to spend. The extra £5m will get blown on increased transfer fees on last minute deals.
Clueless.

Nobody coming to either clubs this weekend will affect Sundays line ups.

We won’t get an up and running first team player because they’ll be valued already at their club and anyone else will have been waiting for a move or not be match fit. Likely both.

I still expect 2-3 new signings which don’t include this left back loan we are looking at.

One thing makes me wonder why Rodgers isn’t clamouring to bring in scouting staff he knows. It’s abundantly clear he was the instigator with Schmeical coming to us

No chance we put new signings into the team for Sunday

Sven Goran Eriksson passed away. Not unexpected but still sad, seemed a decent guy

I think Rangers might throw a new guy in if they can get one. We'll likely have the same team with maybe Kuhn for Forres. Not sure who starts up front though?

Kyogo starts. Subbed at 60 for Idah unless we are pushing for a goal in which case Idah comes on for Bernardo and Kyogo goes into a 10 role

Think Maeda will start up front for us with Forrest and Kuhn on the wings. Kyogo on later and drop Maeda back for Forrest after his 60 minutes. Depending on how game is going he may throw Idah on for last 10-15 minutes.

We’ll see

Lagerbloke to FC Twente on loan

Bid made for Engels and personal terms agreed.

£6.5m albeit they want £8m plus add ons to make it to circa £12m. Quite intrigued with this one.

Loan with option to buy for Isaksen being touted in Italy. Again I’m intrigued.

Valle on way for medical. Good

Allegedly.

Pleased with the progress though I just read that Isaksen is keen to fight for his place in the Lazio team so may be a no-goer for us

Maybe why he’ll accept a loan if he’s not being given the starting slot

I stayed up last night to watch that MLS leagues cup final. Couldn't see anything at all in that Bogusz. No pace and a first touch that would lead to a leg breaker.

Hope they're nowhere near him

Thing is, Maeda has terrorised Tav so much that it's a psychological 1-0 even before ko so I can see that being reverted to, Kuhn right, Kyogo centre - again because he's got a great record in these games the defenders will be on edge and maybe over-think it?

Know nothing about the guy, but did raise an eyebrow when they seemed to be talking £8m for a guy playing in the MLS. Like the look of Engels a lot more, and he can seemingly play RB, RW or CM … so Pistol will count that as 3 signings.

Buogusz's YouTube compilation would have you quickly whapping out yer banger and spreading your weeping muck all over the carpet !!

looks a player on that , but i also know youtube could make Mickey Johnstone look like Messi part II

Engels looks a bit clunky to me but his numbers are maybe more efficient

to get both would be good .

also it would be good to bring in another winger , you know.... to add to 10 we already have ....because what if we get an injury to Carter vickers they could ALL come in handy
