5.5? A couple of things may have fallen off the mantlepiece.
I was there when we had a 6.1 and that was pretty strong... Buildings swaying, huge cracks down the walls etc.
The Richter scale is logarithmic, so these smaller numbers sound weak, but can be pretty damn strong.
If only there was an earthquake in Manchester..I'm sure it would improve the area๐๐๐
These events seem to be getting more frequent. The sooner we act on climate change, then the sooner all of us will be more safe. Yes, you may think it only happens in other countries but once the land in the UK gets that warm from global warming, it too will crack and we will have earthquakes in our own back yard.
The is a global issue and we need to make sure people are EDUCATED so that we can prevent further damage.
I believe that it was felt quite strongly in Huelva and surroundings ! 1775 and all that ,makes you think.
Let's hope Rosso got clobbered
I'm leaving faro to come home. Just at the airport. Was in the hotel last night fast asleep and the bed was shaking.
Genuinely thought the room was possessed by something. The whole building shook!
Didn't seem much damage though!

The City of Liverpool is infinitely nicer than Manchester
Most of South Liverpool is a lovely residential are with lots of great parks.
Most of Manchester is a shiiithole.
Nice areas of Greater Manchester tend to be outside the actual city

I think you protest to much. Where were you on the night of the 3rd May 2007?
Even the cat slept in this morning, and it’s usually awake at 6am chomping on my nose for breakfast.
Didn’t feel a thing.

Depends on a number of factors. Depth, distance to major cities, types of buildings, soil, etc.
There was a 5.1 magnitude quake in southwestern Spain not that long ago that caused significant damage, 9 dead and several hundred injured.
