For me James is a nailed on starter that leaves largie, Gnonto and now Solomon for the other role.
Having said that Gnonto as a central midfielder is now an option...
I don't know I'd he starts and if he doesn't then why would he come when there were other options for him where he would definitely be guaranteed game time.
Not complaining though, strength in depth and all that...
If we sign Hamer, Sallai and Aarons I think it would be very very difficult to not go up.
Not bad at all considering the owners were asset stripping before a sale to Red Bull last Monday.
I’m not going to pass judgement until the deals are done and the window is shut though.
But I am optimistic.

Seen a few saying that Gnonto could do a job at CM, he did look like he could at times against a very poor Wednesday, one thing that is without doubt...he's a better finisher than Rutter.

Matty I think the starting 11 is something like this Mes, Bogle, Rodon, Pascal, Firpo, Gruev, Ampadu, Largie, Gnonto, DJ, Mateo.
Sign Sallai and James drops to the bench but though the squad would be so strong question whether we need him.
I like you am puzzled as to why we signed Solomon but also puzzled as to why he came and why Spurs sanctioned it as we cannot guarantee him game time.
Buying so many wingers might mean we expect a late bid for Willy G? Covering our ar$es with the Solomon loan? Hope Gnonto stays.

Solomon has had a torrid time with injuries so stacking up on wingers aint a bad thing, take Spence for example, forced us to peg Gray there.

Tanaka has a release clause doesn't he, not supposed to work that way is it.
We are also being linked with Ajax full back Owen Wijndal, possible loan to buy option.

Some very good options in there and if these guys are competent we should be in a position to make the 2 or 3 signings that we need and win the league.
I’m worried that we are being too indecisive and will end up with nothing or the worst option but let’s see. Let’s not pretend we know what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Burnley however, look in a right mess. Nothing against Burnley, but the weaker the other teams are the better and if we do nick Hamer from Sheff Utd it will be like killing two birds with one stone.
Apparently Hamer looked like he was saying goodbye at the end of the game last night. Good news for us if we get him or he leaves the league.
League has never been weaker, three clubs who have come down, in really poor shape.
A week ago, Burnley were going to walk it, sheff utd were making great signings and would challenge Burnley.
Oh and sheffield wednesday was a really good team.
We would be lucky to be mid table 🤦🤦🤦

It’s just PR. Obviously heard the reaction over the last couple of weeks and would like to try and change the narrative.
The reaction was clearly over the top and the asset stripping nonsense was just a lack of understanding of business. I also don’t think it’s wise to keep fans in the loop alll the time. It would be stupid to tell everyone what you are planning to do.
Comments like that from the club won’t shift my view but if it can calm down some people it’s not the end of the world.
Make the signings required and win the league and you’re good owners. That’s all that really matters
