McT had to go, both to further his own career and allow us to bring in who we wanted.
A few disparaging remarks about him, but he comes across as an honest pro who gives his all and has a good team ethic - you need those in your squad, those are the ones that can come into the side and help you win titles whilst the 'superstars' are injured or being rested - sadly for us, we currently don't have a title winning side, so McT was probably playing more than ideal. You could imagine him having a role in a SAF winning squad.
So I say good luck to him and wish him well - a good honest pro.

It's fashionable for academy homegrown players to be the fan's fall guy. No exotic name, no flamboyant lifestyle but way more effective than some that do or did.
