Not far away from Flash Gordon time now
24 hour to save the season.
Will the 49ers save everyone of us?
Is Paraag Marathe alive? Wheres Brian Blessed when we need him?

I'm still wary of our owners and not 100% impressed with the way they operate leaving everything to the last minute is not my idea of a well run ship....okay they may have allayed my asset stripping concerns after so many star player exits and such deafening silence and no
evidence of any new incoming players until a week ago
but even with a little over 24hrs to go until the transfer
window closes we are scrambling around to get the
barest minimum of deals done to pad out our new
streamlined squad which must be one of the smallest in
numbers in the Championship.
I know Faith, Germany and a few others still believe in
these owners of ours and you are certainly very patient
men for not having the same worrying concerns and
feelings of distrust a lot of us on here shared, admittedly
I imagined the absolute very worst but their silent pee poor PR behaviour did that, but a week or so on, if we only
bring in AO, and a new left back and keep Gnonto I'll accept that as our lot plus the new players we already have but to my reckoning if that is our total business the owners are at least £70 million in profit allowing for all the financial restrictions but that's their perogative as owners, they aren't doing anything illegal but you'd of hoped they would be happy with say just a £50 million profit but there is still time for a marquee signing or two to make that scenario come true.
Anyway like the rest of us I shall be following events closely between now and tomorrow night when whoever
we have brought in or not the team Saturday are fired up
sufficiently to beat Hull City and keep spirits on here at
least, unusually positive.

49ers still have a lot to prove. I’m just not going to overreact to everything that goes wrong. Things will always go wrong. It’s on them to deal with it.
And there is not a chance in hell that the club makes a profit of £50m this season.
And as much as you think it would help you to know who we want to sign and how much we want to pay, it ain’t going to help the club telling everyone that info is it. Unfortunately we have no choice but to wait and see.
If we only sign Tanaka and Schmidt I won’t be happy at all. I still think it will be enough to get us up but I don’t think we can afford to risk it. Add Sallai or Hamer on top of that and it’s hard to complain really.
