Didn't they sign Sherwood instead of Zidane or was it a case of we have Sherwood, why do we need Zidane?
Gazza joining Fergie at Utd could have seen him be a great rather than a what if.
Liverpool nearly signed Ronaldo before he signed for United but baulked at his salary demands of £1m a year which they thought excessive for an 18 year old.
One of the what if’s for me was if we had signed Glenn Hoddle to partner Robbo in midfield.
what if arsenal didnt take the piiss with the +£1?
If not for Munich, Tommy Taylor would probably had a career up there with the very best and a genuine chance of winning a World Cup. Possibly the 1958 edition.
For spurs:
What if we had given Ferguson what he wanted
What if we had offered Le Tiss what he wanted
Favourite in general is Sheff United not signing Maradonna when they had the chance
I wouldn't say a favourite as such, but what if we hadn't won the FA Cup in 1990 and SAF got sacked?.......

Terry Venables would have managed us
Oh, and what if Martin Edwards hadn't agreed to sign Bosnich and we got VDS in back then. I was never keen on Barthez either.
Wasn't Abramovich going to buy Spurs until he flew over Stamford Bridge and liked the look of their stadium?
Mine would be what if Liverpool beat Chelsea in 2003 to qualify for the CL at their expense? Chelsea were on the brink of bankruptcy at the time. Would Roman have taken them over?

and we prob wouldn't have signed Cantona
If United had signed shearer I reckon they’d have a couple more CL
What if Paul Bodin hadn't chosen the worst moment to miss the only penalty he ever missed in his career.

Carra was mentioning that the other day on sum uttube thing. Made a good point that in the 00s we didnt really have a top top winger. after barnes?
kewell was prob the closest to a could have been. but kuyt was prob our most useful/productive out there but not a proper winger type. Liked Garica too but not really a winger either.

If we'd have signed Shearer when he went to Blackburn, I'm not sure we'd have ended up with Cantona. And almost certainly not Andy Cole. Maybe we'd have won more pots that way, but I wouldn't switch.

I did think this one too of course, or even had we not won the league the previous year, but I've chosen to stick with ones that aren't tragedies. I'm sure we can all agree that we'd change those.
If the referee hadn’t been corrupt in that 2009 semi we’d have another CL
We would have beaten that Chelsea side 😪
If the PL had rejected the Glazer's leveraged takeover in 2005 (which they should have done) English football would probably look a lot different now than it currently does.
R9 accepted the deal to sign for Rangers from Barca... was between us and Inter. the deal we offered him was apparently almost too good to turn down for Ronaldo.
We agreed to let him pick and choose what games on a saturday he would play in as well as an enormous wage. despite offering a better deal than Inter did he went with them as they had chased him for about 6 years.
