Our form certainly makes me question the validity of Ange's achievements in pisss poor leagues.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just come out and say you want him out. You have been teasing it for weeks
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I will soon if form doesn't improve.

I will, I want him out as he will not last this season at this rate and we are gonna need to focus on the Europa to have any chance of Champions League. Not sure the point of us in the Champions league, but there you go.

Ange is like Wenger in his final years. All out attack with no plan B. If you are going to play like that you need to bring in better forwards

1) We need to address the set pieces.

2) Vicario needs to eat a few burgers

3) Brennan Johnston is an impact sub.

4) if we are going to continue with Ange’s philosophy, the ball has to be moved a lot faster with more off the ball running. This standing still and pointing at the ground waiting on the ball being passed simply has to stop.

A lot people seem to think we played well for the most part. No we didn’t. We had the ball but we did absolutely nothing with it. Absolutely nothing. I can’t think of one decent chance we created. If this is Angeball I don’t really want it. What is all this bullshiiiiit about him being associated with good football? If he is then it’s because he sets us up so feckin open, it’s considered fun to watch the opposition tear us to pieces for the neutral.

This is what you get when you rely on data alone instead of splashing on proven talent. Fail to spend, that’s what happens. Vicario is fast proving why he was so cheap, yet we baulked at the Raya fee for maybe 10m more.

The club is a feckin joke. It’s rotten from the inside out. I honestly felt nothing when that Arsenal goal went in. That’s what Levy has done to any shred of hope I had that we could ever achieve anything tangible. I’m bot sure why I keep watching to be honest. Joke club.

Think Ange will be safe for a little while longer but you'll never get anywhere with him. I'm sure he knows he's tactically outmatched by most of the league, so these principles won't bend cos it's all he's got to offer. All your seasons will be the same with him - do reasonably well cos you've got a good team, but you'll have certain games where teams have blatantly done a job on you which everyone (including him) can see.

I wouldn't be surprised if Marseca's one of these too, with coaches like this it's all about the quality of football & asking yourself if it's fun? Is it enough compensation for those games that'll frustrate the hell out of you?

All GKs have flaws imo. Vicario’s can definitely be corrected also I believe. But there are loads of the same errors happening time and time again. Also Maddison has to deliver more in this set up, but having movement in front of him would help.

This is all correct. I'm still on board, but the biggest worry for me is that after a season and a summer we're no better on set pieces. Ange needs to swallow his pride on that one fast and bring in a specialist or we've got no hope.

But we don't attack, we just mess about with it 40 yards further up the pitch than we did under Conte.

I think the Angels cover can safely be retired.

Those first 10 games look a long distant memory now. I mean we showed in that spell how we could be under Ange - full of confidence, a winning mentality running through the team. I'm confused as to whether that was just an initial new manager buzz and we've since been found out, or if Ange is trying but failing to recapture that confidence in the players since the disruption of those injuries at the time.

We actually look like we don't even want to score, the players seem to have no belief we will score, the fans know we won't score.

I like Ange and up til today was willing to give him a bit more time as we didn't sign what we needed in the summer. However, he's pushed me over the edge today and i think he needs to go, we are so frustrating to watch. Soft touches at both ends of the pitch, we have some winnable fixtures coming up but i think we will continue to drop points in these games.

Jose and Conte would have been proud of that Woolwich performance.

Whats your philosophy, exactly? Seems like a load of sideways passing without any idea how that translates to goals

posted on 15/9/24

Replacing Ange will achieve nothing under these clown owners, the first person that needs to be replaced is Levy

posted on 15/9/24

Ange Lange and Werner need to go preferably at the same time.

Tactically inept shown up again after the goal with no clear plan b. Ending with Son in centre midfield, sarr at centre back, romero as a centre foward. We looked like plucky non league side trying to get a goal to force a replay or extra time. I was embarrased watching the end of the game.

Cannot get us up for derbies at all. Not subjective the results show this.

Two stats really stand out to me when you look deeper Clearances completed we had 20 they had 7. Tackles completed 6 to 2. So we were the ones under more pressure.

Should not be losing at home to an Arsenal side missing key players.

We keep talking about IF we did this, IF we do this. All If buts and maybes. No ifs we lost again 4 points from 4 games our only win against the divisions whipping boys.

From the Spurs games I've seen (maybe about 10 since last year), you attack pretty well. Bare in mind teams will always dig in against you cos it's the easiest & most effective way to counteract having none of the ball/concede that & focus on winning the battle for space. That recycling up the pitch is trying to bait the opposition out.

But it's more about intentions. You are an offensive team! You continue to hold a high line vs. teams with composed passers & pacey forwards. That's aggressive, tactically stupid, but aggressive.

I do think a different style of play would suit our players.

But we’ve bought bang average players so we’re not going to be pushing Top4 anyway.

He has spent £400mil to achieve absolutely nothing. I put it down to the board telling him he has to spread over a number of players because we won’t pay the wages topnplayers would want - no evidence but just the same pattern over 20 years.

Every summer we buy 7 or 8’players: one decent (although this summer we didn’t), a couple of average, a couple of kids. Every single time.

Which style of play would suit us and which manager plays said style?

Was quietly concerned before. Now very concerned. Set pieces will cost him his job. It’s just a case of when

Porro and Udogie are wingbacks so play them wide and probably with a back 3.

Maddison seems crowded out with the two full-backs in midfield.

Johnson was apparently more effective when running into space/ balls over the top. I still just think he’s not very good, but our possession-based football doesn’t suit him - maybe due to his technical ability. Same with Werner maybe.

Not sure which other coaches invert both full backs and defend in a two on the half-way line? So pretty much anyone who design do that might get better results.

I don’t think any manager can save this season and any manager will be paying the price for rotten recruitment over the last year when Ange leaves.

So you want us to go back to 3 5 2? Can't wait.
