I fear we are now a victim of Levys reputation.
We struggled to get a manager really struggled. The only reason we have Ange is because he is Scott Munns mate.
I want Ange gone he is tactically inept and full of hot air but i do not see anyone out there.

Which manager is is tactically right for us?
Can't see anything more than 4 points from our next 3 games and that's generously predicting we will sneak a win against Brentford at home and a draw to Brighton away. United is a big team so no doubt we'll lose that one. Could just as easily be 1 or 2 points.
With that accumulation of points after 7 games and being well behind the top 4, I don't see Ange surviving if I'm honest.
I do. You predicted Liverpool not to finish in the top 4 and after one loss you think you are right lol.

Frank I think would be a decent choice. PL experienced, has his team looking organised and pressing well, coped admirably this season without Toney, finished top half with Brentford before.
The fact he has kept a newly promoted team in the league these last few years shows he's doing a good job.

I think he'd come to Spurs, especially as we could offer him a substantial pay rise. He's the absolute best manager we could attract anyway. He wouldn't achieve anything though, no manager will until Enic sell up.

I do think a different style of play would suit our players.
But we’ve bought bang average players so we’re not going to be pushing Top4 anyway.
He has spent £400mil to achieve absolutely nothing. I put it down to the board telling him he has to spread over a number of players because we won’t pay the wages topnplayers would want - no evidence but just the same pattern over 20 years.
Every summer we buy 7 or 8’players: one decent (although this summer we didn’t), a couple of average, a couple of kids. Every single time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which style of play would suit us and which manager plays said style?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Porro and Udogie are wingbacks so play them wide and probably with a back 3.
Maddison seems crowded out with the two full-backs in midfield.
Johnson was apparently more effective when running into space/ balls over the top. I still just think he’s not very good, but our possession-based football doesn’t suit him - maybe due to his technical ability. Same with Werner maybe.
Not sure which other coaches invert both full backs and defend in a two on the half-way line? So pretty much anyone who design do that might get better results.
I don’t think any manager can save this season and any manager will be paying the price for rotten recruitment over the last year when Ange leaves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you want us to go back to 3 5 2? Can't wait.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Vic
Drag Romero vDV
Porro Bents Biss Madders Udogie
Solanke Son
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would prefer three CBs, but it won`t matter if you have a goalie that flaps, and CBs that cannot defend corners. They will still concede.

5 defeats on the trot. Until he is given better players it is pointless replacing with a new manager who will be given players of the same level.
Some of you mentioned Frank at Brentford.
Did you watch City's winner on Saturday. Leaving Pinnock, their CB, one v one against that robot.
One long ball and bang. 2-1. If he did that at Spurs, you would all be looking for your next victim of a manager.
I'm still prepared to give Ange a chance. Would rather cash in on Romero and sell him to Madrid(if they still want him) before sacking Ange.

Ultimately, we won’t achieve anything under this ownership so it’s a futile merry go round anyway.

I agree with this. Ange has been left short. £80m from Kane and we got bobbins to show for it. As some have said the first eleven from last season has not improved.
One injury to Udogie and we are screwed. Same goes for Vic.
As for our transfers, I was happy with Gray and Odobert because of their potential. I was hoping Solanke was a smokescreen for someone else and then we ended up over paying for him. Werner was meh again.
Cba going on and on about Levy. I have accepted he will leave on his terms. It won't be because of fan pressure.
