Could be partly because he's leaving and it's an emotional game.

This isn't how you play City though. They've had 2-3 good quality chances already in 19 mins.

Possession is a big part of Sporting's game and the decision to cede this element completely to play on the counter is a strange ploy.

He's up against a far more talented and expensive squad so it's going as you'd expect.

Teams like Bournemouth have bigger budgets than Sporting do. The gap is way too big.
