How am I surprised we have managed to score 3 goals, but also surprised we have only scored 3 goals.

It wasn't dull anyway.

Time to focus on the league and Europa. We can't compete on 3/4 fronts with the lack of quality we have and we seriously need to improve our league position.

So far, we’ve seen promising signs in every game. The errors have come from the usual suspects and some players, like Bayındır, who are unlikely to feature again.

You make choices for the starting line ups based on how much you care. It’s not h at he doesn’t care, it’s weighing up the competition against others and how the squad needs to be managed.

Any manager cares once the match kicks off, you still hate losing.

Unless you actually think he’s suddenly tonight just thought Lindelof was better than Maguire, or Antony better than Amad etc.

In a way I’m glad it seems to be individual defensive errors costing us now rather than just being rubbish.

Totally agree, but what happens when you compete for four trophies is that you get exhausted at the wrong moment and lose all of them in one week. So, no regrets. We need to play less games in order to build our system.
