starfelt was a good cb, next to CCV, without him he fell to bits.
i think it's taken for granted just how important he is for us, criminal he hasn't won a POTY award.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn’t McGregor just win his first ever player of the month award last month?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's mental.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I find that astonishing if true - said during the match absolutely immense for us. Even his Broony stare in the tunnel just know he's going through the stuff he has to remember to lead the team.

need to use the squad well, falkirk should see a few different faces get a run out. Maybe a good look at Trusty and Valle.
Expect Bernardo will play.
Here, Engels looks like a player, his movement, strength, i'm liking it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Said it last night, but even this early Engels looks a relative bargain at £11m. Many things about his game to like, including his confidence dispatching pens! BR said after the weekend Hatate was our No1 taker, and Engels No2, but Reo had selflessly allowed him to get his first goal for the club. Based on last night, I assume Arne’s now our designated taker?

In other news, just how long do we think it will take for Mossad and the IDF to be listed internationally as terrorist organizations?
I feel sure that the GB will have something to say tonight which will be another incoming fine.

Israel is a terrorist state. The war crimes committed on it's behalf are abhorrent. But because the US and the West cosy up to them, it's ignored.

👍
I wouldn’t change too much at the weekend the cup games can be tricky, every season you hear of some team resting too many players and getting put out. At the very least have some big hitters on the bench.

Idah for Kyogo, Valle for Taylor, Bernardo for Calmac & Ralston for Johnston.
If they can get a 3 goal lead then bring on Trusty, McCowan, Holm, Yang & Palma.

Ralston shouldn't get a game for us anymore, lets leave sentiment at the door, he's an awful footballer and it's astounding he has lasted this long at a club like celtic.

Trusty is going to be an interesting one. In fairness to Scales he was decent last night, but we haven’t paid £6m for a guy to sit on our bench.

Aye, not the brightest. He was utter guff last night as well, including pwicking about to concede the unnecessary corner that resulted in our opening goal. Also lucky not to see red for the off the ball kick out.

Maybe would have if he didn't take 3 steps before throwing himself into the air
Is that the best performance in the champions league?
Beating Man U to qualify for the last 16 was special but last night just felt like back to the old times.
Hardly put a foot wrong all night and should have had more.
he was a right wee tube when he was at rangers, he seems to have matured though.
fair play to him, we are all guilty of saying silly things when we were younger.
I remember when ginger was a few weeks younger than now and he agreed with heed, hopefully he's matured enough to see how silly his comments were.
I was gutted we didnt get Weiss at the time as both teams were in for him , thought he was a cracking wee player but strangely Walter didnt use him that much at Rangers .

yeah he has some running style also , like a goose trying to get off the ground but cant quite manage .
Forrest is probably for the first time i can remember getting actually applauded onto the park when he comes on , before it just used to be seats shuffling but people seem actually fairly excited by his presence now

Nobody wants any player to fail but especially one that has shown a rare level of loyalty. They don't want to see him wither away either so I think there's an element of gratitude to the receptions?
Something I admire Broon heading out when he wasn't deserving of a starting place. Also charting his coaching career in the lower levels, learn the job, make the mistakes. Bit like StevieG.
