Be interesting to see if/when Valle might get some game time at LB. Early days, but little point going on loan from Barca to be an unused sub elsewhere.

Great night. Cracking atmosphere, and that was the loudest I’ve heard the stadium before the game for a while. Kyogo again missing too many chances-thought he could have had a hat trick in the first half. Pleased for Scales to get the goal.

Heard a bit from Rodgers on the way home, and he talked about little changes they made at half time. Seemed to make some difference as I thought we really stepped up a gear. Some good finishes as well.

No idea what Taylor was thinking about for the goal we lost-some finish from the Bratislava player.

Good start-clearly will only go downhill from here!

Agree. Don’t know if this is correct, but chatting during the game and thought that the last time we were 2 up at home in the CL was against Barcelona, and last time we were 3-0 up in the CL was against Anderlecht away from home.

As much as Bratislava aren’t a great team, if those stats are true then it puts tonight into a bit of perspective.

I think the word gobsmacked would describe my reaction to his accusations.😂

Two very different celtics in each half.

I thought we were ok in the first half, a bit passive and waiting for openings, that said we could have gone in 3 or 4 nil up.

Second half i thought we went at them and made our own openings, i don't think anyone had a bad game but the goal we lost was typical of what we do in europe, i think Taylor tires towards the end of games and we need to start giving Valle a bit of game time we that we can bring him on and give Taylor a rest.

Scales was terrific again, and maeda's off the ball work is ridicoulous, i'm constantly in awe of it. Going back to taylor i think we would maybe see more flaws in his game if he didn't have daizen bombing about next to him,

Surely ideal game to give Valle & Trusty game time.
