Nursing a whoppping hangover, so hopefully should remember the game tomorrow (for all the right reasons hopefully).

One match ban enabled
3 wins and 3 defeats would represent a very good start to the season considering our expectations prior to the opening match, so to lose away against one of the promotion favourites would be no disaster. But we ought to go in with confidence and seek to win it.
Osborn for Ozoh for sure. Maybe Phillips in for one of the forwards?
Ah...there you are View. Well me and Mrs H are at the Brittany Ferries terminal in Portsmouth to Santander ready to drive down to join the Mojácar Rams and of course Mr and Mrs Jorvik. Sadly this means we'll be missing the game but hopefully we'll not get stuffed up there as many pundits are predicting ...anyway. regards to all.
Oh...BTW Mr Zan (Zanfish) told me he can't hear like he used to ... so, he's going to be getting a Herring Aid.
Cheers. Terry. UTR
Nice to see a little bit of human input into the MT this week
I’ve spent the week golfing on the Welsh coast. Glorious wall to wall sunshine. Fried breakfasts and ale have taken their toll though I expect I will be in better shape than Scouse if we bump into each other tomorrow.
Cheeky bugger.
A Greggs pastie sorted the hangover, so I might be on for a couple pre match and with a spot of good fortune on the pitch, a few afterwards too. đť

Did you come across the elusive Chough?
I saw no choughs. Plenty of stonechats. Also a cheeky gull that had clearly noticed I had a torn calf muscle. It followed me around the golf course, also limping in what seemed to me an insensitive mocking display.
Thank goodness you didn't fall - they would have been all over you. Vicious things Stonechats when they sense weakness...................
There was an adder also. It slithered across the 18th green, pausing briefly to inspect the hole, and then disappeared into the rough. Presumably it was looking for its ball. I never knew adders played golf but there you are.

It would have beaten me today. First game for over a year. A bogey 6 at the first hole, much gnashing of teeth. I finally made a par at the 18th. My excuse is I am crap at golf.
As the expats return to their winter homes I have returned from touring Europe leaving more devastation than the lufwaffe, RAF and USAF combined. Rain drops were falling on my head but I outran them.
