Dessers keeping up his form as the most lethal striker in the country. Weird how we can sometimes be quite good and yet so shiite at the same time. Like even when we get a good result, we do it in a shiitey way that builds no confidence for the next game because we expect Dessers to go back to tripping over his feet in front of an open goal and Lawrence to keep ballooning shots over the bar from 30 yards. Actually the second of those already happened today anyway.

Ach I'm fine. Been working like a dog and getting heehaw for it so far this year. Barely taken a holiday so they're not going to see much of me the back end of the year as I slip into winter boozing taking every other week off
Serious note though, barely had the mental capacity to care about football or much else recreational lately, need to stop giving a fvck and get myself oot the grind like all those gen z's in the office who couldn't do a proper day's work if their life depended on it.

All sounds familiar. I'm well out of it now but MrsS has wee upstarts coming for interviews laying down the terms of how much they are prepared to work! Eh, very good but a) GTF, b) enjoy your laid back life in a bedsit unless you inherit money.
Maybe I'm just an auld cant but prove yourself first, then you can swan around and call the shots.

I thought it was bad at my place, but at least when push comes to shove the kids will do what they're god damn told because that's the job. My missus works for a consultancy and all the kids there just say "nah that's not the direction I want to take my career so I'm not going to take that work"! What happened to the "...and whatever else your manager tells you to do" (down, Pointy) part of job descriptions?
I’d a young lady report in sick this week due to ‘various issues’ and who needed ‘a day to decompress’.
