We needed that intensity for more of the game

Enjoyed that last 15 mins.

Goudmijn, Harness, Jackson and Chirewa in a Paul Warne team. My cup is full.

Fascinating game, a point would have been fair - if not the minimum. Officiating a disgrace.

Much better 2nd half but abysmal officials ...I have never seen such awful and diabolical refereeing in my life...

Well done CBT for his goal. Hope he can push on here. Norwich were hanging on. If we can work on our decision making and composure. The glory days are here again.

We did indeed show Norwich too much respect first half as commentators have said and at times we were guilty of some shoddy play but to come back after some appalling assistant reffing was so heartening. CBT's goal was a beauty but should have been ruled out as Collo was clearly offside and in the goalie's sightline but no way were those officials going to spot it. So it should have been one apiece and that would have been fair as Norwich were pretty good.

Cashin was immense and so unlucky with a long-range thunderbolt which rattled the crossbar. Ebou not far behind with yet another 96 minute display in spite of several hard knocks.

We do miss Ozoh and the subs did seem to inject some life into the team. I would love to see CBT start a game as although Jackson works very hard his crosses are poor and he missed two good chances today.

Finally great for Fozzie to score on his 300th appearance.

I only caught the second half but for me it was one of the best defeats I've seen in a while.

Like Spart's comment earlier I thought that would be the Plan for this season keep shape and try and nick one on the break.

When Adams was taken off I was about to dust off the owd "Naive subs from Warne" sentence and then Chirewa and Goudmijn unleashed some serious good moves that had a very good championship side rocking.

It reminded me a bit of us under Rooney when the latest academy product would be thrown into the fire and hit the ground running.

Harness, Chirewa, Goudmijn, Yates, Jackson, Osborne is some serious balling talent in my mind. CBT might add himself to that mix....fingers crossed.

It's still raw as evidenced by some of our stray passes and could maybe do with a Gordon Cowans, John Eustace type presence in MF ...or maybe not.

I just feel that we have a solid Plan A - shut up shop and a very exciting Plan B which I hope will grow over the period of the season into our Plan A.

Personally, I kind of enjoyed the anarchy of letting the ballers run, last 15 mins and see what happens. Potentially, life changing wisdom, as ever from the beautiful game.

The last two games have evidenced some sloppy passing - ball retention needs to be much better in this league but I'm sure we have the players to get used to it and rise to the occasion.

PS Even when watching their first "goal" live on TV I was screaming that the ball was over the line before the cross so I wonder why the lino did not see it. For that to happen again when we should have been awarded a corner (which enabled N's third goal) was inexcusable. I don't blame the ref (although he was generally poor) but surely the lino(s) had clear views?

Yes I watched your game today and echoe the views on here over the incompetence shown by the linesman because you could see without any replays on the first one it was way over the line the second one was not as clear but you would have thought after the first half
koque up the linesman would have given any doubt in
favour to Derby but yet again the EFL are cursed with
below standard officials.

I know mistakes and human error can happen as we all have been guilty of such in our daily lives but for the money they're paid and such fine margins determining the outcome of most games that Linesman or assistant ref as they're called nowadays needs to be reprimanded in some way ie at least a one or two game ban but I doubt it will happen.

The linesman missed an offside just before the goal. I was in a good position and could see it had gone out, trouble was the linesman was not looking and as ED Dawes said, you can't guess.

I thought we played well but Norwich were better. Their number 9, 17 and 6 were brilliant. If only we had got a 26 year old Chris Martin to hold the ball up.

Yes, we really need another striker. Again felt sorry for Yates who had no support.

I enjoyed the game. Yes it was a bad error by the linesman but human beings make mistakes and I’m sure it was not intentional. I prefer the occasional mistake for or against us rather than VAR any day of the week.

We have shown that we are more than competitive this season and that’s better than I had feared. I agree that the cameos today of Chirewa and Harness promise well for some variety and invention this season, at least off the bench. And CBT is showing signs of the player we thought we were getting.

In tight games like this against good opponents, we will win some and lose some and on this performance gather enough points along the way to be comfortable. To progress beyond that we need someone of quality to vie with Yates or to partner him.

Cashin was fantastic today by the way. Josh Sargent is a very good player and he won’t have a tougher afternoon all season.

Hi. I agree that the job of the officials is a difficult one...but unlike a foul - which is subjective... the ball is either in play or out of play... and on both occasions the ball was a full ball's width out of play and I did not need to replay the incidents to know that....it was THAT obvious. I thought we'd left the really bad Reffing behind in L1...sadly not...but tbh there's no way I'd like VAR - so we're stuck with bad officials.
1 1 would have been a fairer result...that said, but for those errors we'd have won 2 1....which we didn't deserve. Cheers. Terry in Spain 🇪🇸 UTR

Fair comment Terry but being honest (I hope!) our second goal should have been disallowed as Collo was offside and in the goalie's sightline re the ball. 1-1 would have been fair. Loads of Norwich fans claim that if their first had been ruled out a penalty should have been awarded agin Cash. The ball clearly struck his hand as he fell but his arm was down. A pen would have been extremely harsh but would those officials have got it right if they had disallowed the goal?
