Bruno, Garna and Rash = no ball retention and Zirkzee missing Amad 😢

Probably targeting the high line of Spurs with Bruno maybe dropping a bit deeper to find the longer balls, and Zirkzee being the link to releasing the faster wingers.

At least ETH has seen the light by resting Eriksen. Expecting far, far more from Ugarte than we've seen to date. Early days but his quality on and off the ball is a lot to be desired. I am going to put it down to nothing more a settling in period.

Good team. A shame Hojlund isn’t ready to start games, but Zirkzee’s hold up play and round the corner passes could be useful in playing Bruno and the wingers in.

Spurs will play with a suicidally high line. Normally I’d agree on the balance Amad brings, but today we’ll just want runners off the shoulders.

At this point I give up. Let the season just end.

Hojlund. He started playing well in the second half of last season. He’s not done loads, but he’s a better goal scorer than Zirkzee.

Goal scoring involves creation, these three have not created anything, literally only Zirkzee. neither has Hojlund been creating spaces for his shots either, Zirkee has. You are expecting what know will not work to change today while the one which has been creating chances and being unlucky with finishing will reduce their opportunities and all of a sudden start scoring?

The ones not scoring the most chances created are Rashford, Bruno and Garnacho. They came in a while ago, were pretty good but all of a sudden cant score in a brothel.

True, but they are also creating chances. Zirkzee has missed 4 “big chances”. The striker we were desperate for would’ve had 4 goals.

We have been facing strikers putting MOTM performances this year. Bad luck or average finishing. My only joy is hes actually getting into the positions. Hojlund was famous for never getting them.
