I could see Chalobah and Guehi forming a good partnership

Difficult one. Obviously VVD is the best centre back in the world so anybody pairing with him is going to have an advantage, however I don't think VVD and Konate have reached the level as a pairing Saliba and Gabriel have, who compliment each other excellently.

Obviously Arsenal's pragmatism, especially when they take the lead makes their jobs easier but we're seeing similar from Liverpool thus far under Slot this season. VVD and Konate could develop further as a partnership this season as on paper it should be close to perfect as Arsenal's two are. Both good in the air and strong, both quick, one who stays back and reads the game providing the passing from deep and one who covers the full back with his face by stepping out. Konate can improve further here as sometimes he steps out too early and is taken out of the game when the opposition counter.

If we are going currently however, ie the first lot of games thus far I'd have to go VVD and Konate.

Pace* not face as Tsimikas tried to do with a Phil Jones from the ground the other week.

4* and 5* = fans will back their own player
3 = I really like van der ven, think he has everything, but Romero is utter shiiite. Has a few good games every now and then and people get carried away
2 = Meh, Torres would probably look better in a better side but I think these are in 4th place
1 = I like Martinez though he's a bit rash, he's a good battler and wins a lot of tackles. De Ligt always been a bit underwhelming for me, theres a reason he hasnt really succeeded anywhere, bit of a hipsters defender.

Since when was VVD the best CB in the world? He's not even the best in the PL. Maybe he once was but now he's just one of the better ones.

Saliba and Gabriel would be the two I'd want all day long. A great partnership.

VVD and Konate are better. No DM's, No full backs who are CB's and no Pulis football.

Saliba and Gabriel are very well protected.

12 months? Try three seasons! Our first shambles of a season scoring-wise was under Rangnick and we've not improved in attack since then.

It really makes no sense at all - it's not just about strikers, but players all round the pitch, we have completely lost the knack of scoring goals.

Forest's Murillo & Milenkovic have faced some of the highest scoring sides in the EPL this season. Conceding only 6 goals in 7 games.

Van Dijk & Konate have only played Brentford.
