They have never beaten Ireland in a major tournament.

Not quite so valuable after Saka injury.

You can also add that England aren't even the most valuable source of comedy (Manchester United beat them at that)

England number 1 at nothing

Missed the game tonight, but just seen the England heat map.

How did they get on with what I can only assume was a highly innovative 0-10-0 formation?

That would be true....if he was England's best ever player.
And then I realised it was Barry 🤡

Description of England's loss to Greece: "LOSING UGLY". Team needs to be totally re-built from the goalie out!

You all wanted this. You wanted England's best attacking talent playing together, based on form, in a formation that accommodated all of them, playing attacking football.

You got what you wanted.

How do you feel about it?

Is this England team of the past decade, the biggest failure in the history of sport? Or even the history of anything? Even Trump won an election and could win another!

----------

The past decade? How about all time. By far the biggest failures on the international stage ever, and that includes the likes of Bhutan, Mauritius and the Maldives.

Not in any world pound for pound.

England, as I said above, are by a distance the biggest failures in footy history given what they should be achieving. Absolutely zero doubt.

Not in History.

I can remember when England lost for the first time on ever English soil at Wembley ....to the Hungarian team under Puskas.

And when they went to the World Cup in Brazil and lost 1-0 to a total footballing nonentity, the United States, a team consisting of part time amateurs!

Some members of that team took Jobs in Brazil and never returned to face the music!

England are perennial underachievers but Scotland are just a joke footballing nation. Tbh I don’t know any sport Scotland are good at.

Maybe last nights result will finally show are doubters England aren’t great. But they are much much better off with Harry Kane in the starting line up.

They need a manager that plays a system that suits the players and plays the best players in their best position. Bellingham and Foden, is just another version of the Lampard and Gerard debate. Both can’t play together.

England are the most valuable international side ever assembled at: €1.46bn
-------------------------------------------------------
I'd love to know how you arrived at that figure.

Foden, Lewis, Saka, Colwill and TAA all came through their clubs' acadamies.

Are you saying the rest of the squad cost about €200m each?

One tennis player doesn’t make you a nation of tennis players

He was a great player though, and I enjoyed his personality too.
