Add to that, Farke didn't rotate the squad.
Ran the starting XI into the ground and they were spent.
Obviously didn't trust his squad beyond the initial 13 or so.

Excatly, so why would we bring more players in 🤦
"Rumours Bamford wants out due to lack of playing time.
Please god be true.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If it's true about him being frustrated about a lack of minutes, here's another illustration how we need him out of the club.
Considering his fitness record & the fact he's a spent force, he should think himself lucky he warms a place on the bench."
Yet some want him out and want to bring someone in a similar age, played less and chances are isn't fit enough for this team!..
Can someone explain why?..
left backs
Firpo - injury prone
Byram - injury prone
Right back
Gray - excellent
Roberts - injured too much
byram - injury prone
Centre halfs
Amp - Centre Midfielder pulled to CB due to injuries
Rodon - Excellent
cooper - Hardly used
cresswell - Never used
Centre mid
Kamara - Good
gray - Needed at RB due to injuries
gruev - Good
amp - Pulled to CB
Wingers
Cree - Excellent
willy - Very good but under utilized
james - Good
Antony - Meh signing
Second striker/10
Rutter - Excellent
Piroe - Good
Geldhart - Hardly used
Strikers
Rutter - Not his position
bamford - Glass
piroe - Not his position last season
Joseph - Farke reluctant to use
Unbalanced squad that ended up square pegging.
Club this size should've done better at building
a well balanced squad. But didn't.
After injuries so far, this season is rinse repeat.
LIW, think about it, he didn't rotate his squad
because he didn't think it was as world class
as you did. Simple really.
Still havent answered the question, for god sake.
How hard is it.
Which positions would you have signed players in 🤦
I would've looked to improve our RB position.
I would've made a left footed LB a priority.
I would've added experience at CB.
I would've looked at a 6 or 8.
I would've looked for a play making 10.
I would've gone after an experienced CF.
3 or 4 of those that met Farke's level and
we would've gone up.
And we needed and still need a better keeper.
Meslier is limited.
And before you get hysterical again, Ipswich and Southampton did use the January window and they
both went up.
"Meslier is limited."
Lots of other keepers around that are limited as well!..
Let me get this right.
So in January
You would have signed another keeper and replaced Mes
You would have signed a left back to replace Firpo
You would signed a right back to replace gray.
You would have signed a centre half to replace either Rodon or amp.
Signed a midfielder replace Kamara
Dropped £40m Rutter for a new number 10
Signed an old striker, probably a big Lump.
Have I missed anything ?
"And before you get hysterical again, Ipswich and Southampton did use the January window and they
both went up."
And before anyone else gets hysterical again, I find it better that the 49ers are running this club and Farke is the coach because the way some around here want things we'd be doing another Ridsdale!..
Nope. Clearly said I would made every effort to
sign 3 or 4 of those. Had we signed and filled
3 or 4 of those, we go up.
Club thought same as you. And thats why we're
still a Championship side.

Clearly the answer to our centre forward issue is to play Firpo up front, scored three on international duty, one for us in his last game. Four goals in three games.
If we don't win on Friday night I think I am going to book my Wembley play off final hotel for next May and it will be a hotel a bit closer than the one I stayed at in Milton Keynes because my first choice just outside Watford was fully booked up....Hope I'm wrong but I just sense we are destined to repeat last seasons mistakes.

Why do some want Kouyate in? Because the alternative is to get on our prayer mats & hope Tanaka & Rothwell can stay fit & available until possibly well after Christmas.
From what I saw of Crew last season, he looks nowhere near the level of Archie Gray. It would be a huge ask to expect him to come straight into the helter skelter of the Championship & excel.
Gyabi is an interesting one. He saw a fair amount of game time on the pre-season tour of 2022 & looked capable against Premiership opposition. He came from Man City with plenty saying the lad was a talent. I was surprised he wasn't given a chance last season & Farke wasted no time loaning him out again this time. He seems to be doing well enough at the moment, even under Rooney.
Nobody seems to know what's really happening with Kouyate. If he was seriously unfit, I think he'd have been sent packing days ago. I imagine the hold up is about money. If a deal can be done, for me it's a no-brainer even just coming off the bench.
Can't really compare him to Bamford. Can't really make any meaningful comparison with Bamford at all 🤣
Kouyate would be fine on a short term contract with no possibility of an extension, and a small wage packet. If he wants more than either of those, then we need to be looking elsewhere.
Looks like the Kouyate deal is dead and we note have Christoph Kramer on trial!

I thought Kramer had already said he wasn't interested?
Is Kramer the bloke who pleyed for Farke before?
I thought I read he was preferred but didn't want to leave Germany? Nice job by Farke if he talked him
into giving this a go. We need cover whoever it is.
Pity we couldn't of got this German player sooner and he was eligible to play Friday night because we would have had Kramer versus Hamer! I'll get my coat 🤣
