Would you be happy with the next manager getting you to penalties in the next euros final? The result of pens is yet to be decided. They're about to take the pens. Happy with the manager or want him gone before the first pen is taken?

Apparently it’s agreed and he’ll be announced as England manager this week.

I don't really care that much about nationality, there's plenty of foreigners who come to this country and they just click with the culture, understand the game in our country and do well with the media.

I don't think that's really the case with Tuchel though and I imagine it'll end up as a strained relationship where we waste some good years of ridiculous talent.

I’ve no doubt he’d improve us above our current levels but he’s not really shown anywhere that he’s capable of getting a club like ours back to where we want to be.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
What more would you want from his time at chelsea?
won the Champions league and had us 1st in the table the following season before injuries to james, chillwell, kante and actually had the most injuries of any one that season. Despite that still won the club woirld cup, super cup, and got to the fa and league cup finals and probably should have won both, at least one.

Where do you want utd to go if not for competition for silverware?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Di Matteo won the CL.

Tuchel hasn’t really been able to get any team other than PSG consistently in a title race.

It took a Dortmund last day bottle job for him to win a title with Bayern and then he finished 3rd in his only full season.

If we want poor league performances with the odd bit of silverware we may as well stick with ETH.

Don't want to see a foreign manager manage England, least of all a German.

England have some quality players around now, it only needs a slightly better English manager than Southgate to go from being nearly men to winning something.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There isn’t a slightly better English manager than Southgate. Both Pochettino and Maresca have outperformed what Potter managed to do at Chelsea. Potter is a good coach at mid table PL level and nothing more - certainly nothing to suggest he could handle one of the highest profile jobs in football

Howe - possibly. But I still think Tuchel is a better manager

England fans need to get over the nationality issue. Look at some of the English managers we’ve had - Hodgson, Allardyce, McClaren, Keegan ffs. Carsley would have been the latest shambles on that list
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Howe, Hoddle, Redknapp, Potter, Dyche....all slightly better or more so than Southgate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Redknapp 😂😂😂😂
Dyche 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You laugh and yet you rate a manager whose only notable achievement at club level, good or bad, is to take Middlesbrough into relegation, over a manager who got a top 4 finish with Spurs twice, a CL QF, a top half finish with Portsmouth and an FA Cup, a high finish with West Ham, numerous promotions into the PL, as well as a manager who got Burnley into Europe and promoted them twice.

The joke is on you.

Crazy hiring a German after the media had a huge go at Carsley for not singing the anthem
