Best - Emirates.
Worst, assuming non-league grounds don't count, the Valley. May be because I was in away end with Millwall fans.
Stamford Bridge was okay, but I liked they had self order machines and pre-orders for HT. Arsenal need that.
Scotland only, for fair comparison.
Best:
Eriskay
Claggan Park
Tynecastle
Celtic Park
Ibrox
Worst:
Meadowbank
McDiarmid Park
New Douglas Park
Hampden
Central Park
agre with the point on seating in Hampden. I actually think the access for me to and from the stadium I have never had a problem with. I do also like the ease of which you can get into the stadium. I like you can get something from the booths and still see the game. Also like the fact that you can leave the actual stadium during the game for a smoke but not leave the grounds in some parts.
I really liked the stadium of light but was there for a Newcastle derby.
San Siro for the Milan derby was special , the derby itself didnt feel as alive or hostile as the old firm but the setting the stadium and the surrounding tops the bill for me but Iv always been drawn to San Siro and always thought its the most iconic of all stadiums.
I dont think either Ibrox or Celtic Park have rivals in the UK for atmosphere be that euro nights or Old firms.
Not a fan of these modern day stadiums lack the character and originality of older stadiums IMO.
Was planning on going to Hamburg v St Pauli derby last season but the bairn put a stop to that and now I need to wait till either one of the get promoted/relgated (knowing my luck it will happen to both on the same season)
Been to Benfica - Porto derby that was decent but again lacking that same buzz we get at ours... And by proxy of visiting the portuguese stadium of light I have been to the Emirates !
On that subject I defo preferred Highbury over the Emirates.
got the HSV / St Pauli , Dortmund / Schalke. Ajax / Feynoord. Been to a friendly at Amsterdam arena but not a meaningful game.
was dissapointed in Nou camp, its big but a proper dump and didnt have the atmosphere you would expect. still would like to sample the classico there.
*got the HSV / etc ....... derbies on the wishlist

The biggest inflatable mattress in the world
St James Park takes some beating as an away fan, city centre location, pubs everywhere, Chinatown across the road
Bit biased but parkhead is one of the best in terms of access and atmosphere.
Love scotlands older grounds
Dunfermline
Cappielow (although a trek to and from supporters buses
Somerset
Old Trafford and Amsterdam arena
Worst
Old broomfield
Annfield - old Stirling Albion
Old bayview
Biggest let downs
Anfield - sat in the middle of the kop - feckin knees are still recovering - absolutely no leg room !!
San siro - great experience but a shytehole inside

It is stunning and worthy of my special mention. I was there 2 years ago for a Champ League match when parts of it were closed for refurb work but then went on the tour last year when Celtic were at Atletico. The engineering is phenomenal and to keep the stadium as it is while doing it is top class.

Watched a game at the Maracana, lovely stadium, shame it was only a mid table Brazilian league match, Fluminense v Recife. Still only cost me £3 (three) to watch which was great.
The access away from wembley for me was quite the opposite. Fackin nightmare, both occassions ive been. Stadium was class though I'll agree there.
Also agree with your metropolitano one. Thats probs my favourite.
I quite like the old style close to pitch squared stadiums, I'm obvs biased to anfield and I like ibrox as it has similar vibes. Also like cologne, was there in the summer and it just had that retro sort of vibe to it. St james park is class too, great atmosphere and the set up as someone above says is top notch being bang in the city centre.
Man been to some shockers over the years. Always hated alloa for some reason. Inverness too, abso fackin freezing. Bigger stadium wise apologies but never been keen on parkhead. Dont know why really. Hampden is terrible.
Wembley is a fantastic stadium but is located in a terrible place with shocking transport to/from. The Principality stadium in Cardiff is another great stadium and is located in a great place with easy access in and out. Plenty of bars and restaurants around it too. Hampden is a sh1thole in every respect.
