"Amad, he is doing well, but I must also reward the performances of Antony in training," Ten Hag said. "He is a threat almost every training session, so I felt in that moment the right thing to do was bring him on to decide the game."

^^^

Nope, checked and it’s real 😹

Sack him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what's wrong with that? It's the Europa league ffs, if there's anywhere we can afford to play Antony for 20 minutes, it's there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We’re not exactly playing Amad in the league though. Antony could be Pele in training but he’s useless in games whereas Amad is actually doing it in games.

Ten Hag is either wilfully blind in regards to Amad or he’s just ignorant. Either way it’s not a great look.

btw - not playing Amad is one of the sticks to beat ETH with... It's just nothing to do with the point i was making.

Amad is one of those situations that we've seen with pretty much all managers post SAF where he has to play very well in every single game to keep his place and when he has an off days he's dropped.

This happens while others are rubbish week in week out and keep their place.

There's an endless list of sticks to beat him with. I want to be first in the queue too.😂

I swear you would get hit by a car and blame the weather. I'm not sure how to respond.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe don't then?

I'm not defending ETH overall, i think he's toast. There are loads of sticks to beat him with and most I agree with... But using a Europa game to give an out of form player a run out is not one of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's literally 4 games. His excuse is to explain the ridiculous change. If it was a one off, his excuse would be he was trying to rotate or it's Europa as you assume. But his basis is every single wide player is training better than Amad. I call bullsheit.

What odds on his dog not being well trained?

His poodle, Antony, is well trained, but does a dump as soon as he gets on grass.

It’s so obvious, and you can feel it even on this forum. The fans have lost even the desire to argue with each other about this team. I’ve never seen this before, and I’m not young.

__

This.

You see this at games at OT too. Regular supporters are broken...often sit there is silence and watch this regular chaos unfold on the big pitch in front of them. Away fans turn up in numbers at OT to take the pizz and sing all day and ofter come away from OT happy.

On SM United forums are dying... like this one....where we can't disucuss things United anymore sensibly because it gets all personal. If you dont agree with some posters then its because you are thick, or a plastic, or know nothing about football, or are even dont understand the current situation at Manchester United LOL. Its ridiculous and has now gone a bit toxic.

Whether or not if we fans disagree with team selection or subs is no reason to sack him.
Results and style of play are reasons.

As someone who knows where this mindset takes us, I do not support it at all.

It's dying because we are supporting a team that has taken everything in our support of our team. If you really want us to be sustained then sack that facker, let someone else manage us so his rubbish can annoy a new set of people. It's the reason why we change parties for election. It's why presidency creates the most divided polity. Frustrating people for long periods of time IS DETRIMENTAL to the community.

Results is the bottom line. But his team selections and inplay management has raised enough eyebrows alone, over the years, to question his suitability.

All fans (even ones who say they dont care), want their team to win. We dont pay and go to watch games with the intention of watching us lose.

What happens, I think, when the team doesn’t perform over a long period of time is that fans transfer their enthusiasm or anger to individual players. It’s like a civil war: instead of attacking rival fans or making fun of them, we attack those who defend Rashford or Bruno or Casimero or any other play we think isn’t helping the team.

yet Bruno and Rashford are still Uniteds best creative players and are the most likely to make positive things happen
