quite like Erik and I think he's been dealt a pretty crappy hand at United with everything that's being going on above him. However, I think he's using that as an excuse now and that transmits itself to the players. No matter what goes on at board level he can still put out a team and motivate them for 90mins. Watching us now just leaves me with an empty feeling. I compare it to when an elderly relative is old and with not much life left to live. You want them to stay alive but, deep down, you know it's not going to happen and that it'd be for the best if they passed away to stop everyone's suffering.

We’re not exactly playing Amad in the league though. Antony could be Pele in training but he’s useless in games whereas Amad is actually doing it in games.

I wouldn’t swap this misery for the FA Cup win against City, but I think he’s trading trophies for contracts at this point, so fail to bring one in this season and he’s gone.

I'm not defending ETH overall, i think he's toast. There are loads of sticks to beat him with and most I agree with... But using a Europa game to give an out of form player a run out is not one of them.
