The only reason he's still here is because Ineos want to convey an image of being calm, considered and not rushing decisions. Unfortunately, they actually look like they're clueless, doubling down on a mistake and showing weak leadership on doing so.

Is it salvageable? We need to be honest Rashford and Bruno need to go or no matter how much a new manager bounce gets us, they both will draw us back to their levels. Half the reason ETH hasn't been sacked since is because it should be now obvious the old clique needs to be swept out to really get a new beginning.

INEOS are just hoping now that Ten Hag will miraculously come good to cover their mistake and get a tune out of his players. And that clearly is not going to happen. And it will get worse. And there isnt a lot of space in the PL left to fall down into.

Gareth would set the team up not to lose better than TH could. But then again, so would the likes of Pulis and Big Sam.
But not losing or even winning a couple of games is all we supporters want right now. It used to be qualifying for the CL. Those were the days.

Don’t think you can blame Ten Hag for that loss today to be fair but you can the rest. I expect he will be sacked over the international break. You’ll beat Leicester and lose to Chelsea.

Don’t see it happening even though he’s clearly doing a very poor job of things.
A combination of the cost of sacking EtH, trying to convey an image that INEOS are taking a different approach and want to back the manager as well as there not really being any obvious replacement means I don’t see a sacking any time soon?
I wonder what the club think of Ruud? Not necessarily the solution but maybe there is a view that bringing him in over the summer could at least give the club an option as an interim manager if things did go tiits up this season? Definitely seemed to be a club choice bringing him in and not EtH’s.
