The Process you mean the game Liverpool were 2-1 up after a clear foul 100 times out of 100 should have been disallowed. We had over double Liverpool XG that game. It was a battering and Liverpool somehow were leading a game they were mullered in. We battered Coventry and again a ridiculous deflected goal and a fake penalty made it look like we collapsed.
In final a howler by Onana gifted Man City a goal and we deserved a penalty at the start of the 2nd half.
We probably should have scored 10 goals more and conceded like 3 less in our FA Cup run last season. Against Forest we had a stonewall pen turned down.

Also funny how Coventry player volleys the ball out of play in the box with ball travelling like 15 yards to them and no penalty at start of ET but a few minutes earlier ball to arm no distance arms in natural position is a penalty lol.

The City final is probably my favourite single United game in a long while. Yes, what happened before or after wasn't great but that day it was a defiant United.
I'll remember that much more than finishing fourth.
That doesn't mean to say that it's acceptable long term of course but football is all about grabbing moments when we can IMO.

Don't understand the need to demean the 2 cup wins
Two brilliant occasions and triumphs at Wembley that hadnt been experienced for a number of years

I would like to think no-one is demeaning cup wins, but at the same time, it's no measure of how good a team is and if they are progressing, and that's the real issue for us.
I would still say my fav Utd moment is Whiteside's goal in the 85 cup final

I think our XG was 20 more than Man City in our last 2 seasons FA Cup campaign playing the same amount of games.

I personally think last seasons FA Cup we were unlucky pretty much every round. We should have won by many goals in most of them.
