I think Trump wins but that’s probably more down to pessimism than anything else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Harris wins but it will be closer than some think on here.
First results in - Trump and Harris tied on 3 votes each

How does Harris expect to pull this off when Hillary couldn't?
Easy. Trying to make it law that voted ID is not required so all the voters the Dems imported can vote for her that have been strategically migrated to swing states.
Biden had dead people voting for him, she has illegals.

And Trump has brain dead people like you voting for him.
Just watched my first and his last Trump rally. What a load of hateful, rambling nonsense.
Between immigration, trans people in sport, and personal attacks on his opponents, he really does go for all the lowest common denominator bullcrap. Waffling on about Musk and his rocket for ages with no point at all.
Honestly I thought I owed it to myself to try and understand what he's got that appeals to so many people. But there's nothing of substance, he seems to define propaganda and hate speech. It really doesn't reflect well on America that this man is even in the discussion.

I think he’s just a vessel for so many psychologically damaged people to latch on to where he allows them to say the things they think and do the things they want to get away with. Much like Andrew Tate and his ilk, he gives a them a safe space to blame everyone else for their failings rather than have the emotional intelligence to look within.
If Harris wins there’s going to be a massive psychological fallout. The cult will be left rudderless and without that structure god knows where all this energy they exerted will go.
Trump odds drifting slightly over night to 4/6 from 8/13. Generally his odds have been shortening in recent weeks.

You’d think the bookies will be raking it in if/when Kamala wins. Trump supporters imo are more likely to put money on him to win than Kamala supporters with her so I’m sure they know what they’re doing.
I was just about backing Harris until Trump explained that if she gets in, the US will become "communist immediately"
So now I'm 100% behind Harris.

Out of sheer curiosity, why are people against voter ID?
Not a leading question I’m genuinely curious why this is deemed to be a problem.

Because not everyone has valid ID, studies have shown that it disenfranchises voters, and it’s entirely unnecessary.

I’d argue it’s not “entirely unnecessary” to ensure votes are legitimate. If it’s made possible for anybody to get a free form of legal ID surely that’s the answer then?

That just shows how ridiculous it is that not everyone has valid ID. It is not a difficult thing to get.
If such a simple thing as getting some sort of valid ID means one can't / won't vote, I would say it is better than you don't vote, because it obviously doesn't bother you that much
I got ID'd in Tesco the other day for some mango energy juice. ID is important to have. Or you risk not getting mango energy drink.

It costs money, it takes time.
There are an awful lot of people in the US (and elsewhere) trying to raise a kid on their own whilst working two (or more) jobs to just about makes ends meet. They have zero disposable income and zero free time.
When voter fraud isn’t an issue - and it isn’t, regardless of what people might have read in right wing tabloids - why should people have to provide ID?
We know what the result will be, because empirical data has shown us: A further disenfranchisement of primarily underprivileged, harder working voters with dependents.
Wasn’t voter id shown to significantly impact the black vote in America?
