Zelensky will be sheeeeting the bed this morning. He manage to become a billionaire from this conflict and if there's one thing Trump can do for the rest of the world and stop the two major wars then its a bright side to an otherwise dark cloud.

Ukraine was never going to win without NATO troops on the ground with them and that is something NATO cant and shouldn't do. The world does not need more war!!

So Ukraine should just let themselves be taken over because we don't want a war?

Ukraine is long and difficulty because Ukraine gets help from NATO and other allies.

Without the US it would have almost been a walk in the park for Russia, who are fat superior to Ukraine and Poland.

NATO is one of the fundamentals of the balance. It is obvious that Putin has expansionist ambitions. He will wait to see how far he can advance that agenda with Trump paralysing NATO and the West from acting against him.

Don't think Poland is likely. But given the pro-EU candidate won in Moldova, if I lived there then I would make sure I had an exit planned.

Moldova, Georgia, the Baltics if the US leave NATO and Europe doesn't strengthen it's militaries.

A lot of Central Asia, although many seem to wisely be tying themselves closer to China so would need Xi to give the go ahead.

All of those are capable. After that it becomes a trickier for Russian expansion but they also have a lot more capability if they control those places.

It will be slow progress for Russia but they will expand inch by inch for decades unless there are drastic changes.

You seem to not understand how treaties work. NATO has no obligation to help Ukraine. NK and Russia have an agreement in place where they do help.

I would rather Ukraine take the L than risk WW3. Yes that sucks for them but there will always be winners and losers in such things.

If Russia starts to ethnically cleanse or commit genocide in Ukraine then the world should act. Russia is on the wrong side of history here and Ukraine has a right to defend itself in anyway it can but that doesn't mean NATO and the rest of the world has to keep supporting them no matter what may come.

So they can have Ukraine to stop world war 3 but if they start ethnic cleansings then world war 3 is OK.

Defending Ukraine's sovereignty isn't risking world war 3. So many geniuses these days.
