That group of players could line up in a variety of ways. But with Dawson and Bueno out I can understand GON being wary yesterday about saying who was a fitness doubt. I would hope we set up with;

Semedo, Andre, Toti
R. Gomes, J. Gomes, Lemina, Ait Nouri
Bellegatfe, Larsen, Cunha

Raul last year refused to pull the trigger and got subbed off. Same again today please

Andre is just under 5' 8". I'm not sure I'd want him as CB.

With Toti the only recognized CB, we may go with 4 at the back.

Seen talk of Andre playing in defence previously so this is one possible set up. I suspect a back four today personally though but it looks a tall order today now with our defence in bits.

Maybe GON has inadvertently and evidently stumbled across a winning formula here?

Given all our centre backs are not good enough for the Premier League, it could be a master class not playing any.

Let’s just hope we can keep the ball and limit the amount of chances we give them.

Agreed. We’ve got a problem with lack of on pitch leadership

Coady had his faults but his leadership was second to none. We need someone who can talk the team through a game
