Maybe GON has inadvertently and evidently stumbled across a winning formula here?
Given all our centre backs are not good enough for the Premier League, it could be a master class not playing any.

Fabulous result, have we turned the corner? 2 goals and an assist for Cunha, what a star. Credit to GON for organising a team with only one senior centre back

Be honest, did anyone see that coming?
8/10 performance all round, with Cunha getting a 10 from me.

Who needs defenders?

Some interesting questions raised after that.
Lemina in the back line? Looked more than comfortable, also opened up the Andre issue, he and Gomes looked smooth.
Today ends any talk that we can't play with a back four if that hadn't already been answered before.
RAN still off his game. Rodrigo not too bad honestly. Still not sure what Bellegarde is, hot and cold. JSL could have been better.

To be honest I thought RAN had quite a good game, mainly operating as a defender. 3 or 4 good clearances. Also managed to chip in when we were attacking.

Wow, didn't see that coming especially with the injuries. Not seen much of it but looking forward to the highlights later. Was driving back from an afternoon out (which was a terrible idea given the weather) and shat myself every time the radio said " goal at Craven Cottage..." I should have more faith.

Fully expected a loss when I heard the team news. That’s a fantastic result given the circumstances!

I know this has all been said before but it bears repeating:
We've played 12 games in the league and 10 of them have been against teams in the top 11, only Spurs remain.
Yes, we've had our problems and there have been a few bad performances (anyone remember Brentford?!). Now we're playing with a depleted defence.
On the other hand there have been more than a few good performances, and WE'RE OUT OF THE BOTTOM 3.

Can't say I was ever that concerned about relegation but lets not forget this team should be battling for a top half finish not avoiding relegation.

Problem is that while having an attack worthy of top half prem we have a defence worthy of bottom half championship.

A very open game and in the end, with a little luck, we grabbed another 3 points. Could have been a lot different had Jimenez scored what seemed a sitter while still 0-0 and then when they scored first, should realistically been 0-2 down and a completely different game.
What a gem we have in Cunha, scored a brace and had an assist. I thought we still had a few dodgy moments in defence, but overall they all played well, with Semedo playing more of a wing back role. Toti improves and Lemina did a fine job as a makeshift CB. RAN blew hot and cold, but overall did well.
Joao Gomes and Andre were very solid in midfield and could form a great partnership. Rodrigo also did well on the left flank, but may not hold his place when we have a fully fit squad. Cunha man of the match by far, but still not convinced about Larsen, as I would really like to see Guedes given a start.
8 points from 4 games is top half form, so let's not drop our guard against Bournemouth next time out.
Well done GON and the boys.

Really good all round team performance. Defended well considering the resources we had. Andre again looked quality in midfield, and Larsen linked things well in attack and benefitted from us playing more positively rather than isolating him. But the real stars were the Brazilians Joao Gomes and Cunha who has become a forward of the highest quality. The next five genes against Bournemouth, Everton, West Ham, Ipswich and Leicester are all teams we could beat. We won’t beat them all but we may well get enough points to fully recover from the nightmare start to the season and put relegation fears behind us.

In his last 29 games Cunha has been involved in 26 goals with 17 scores and 9 assists.
Since the start of last season he has scored 13 Premier League goals away from home. Only Haaland has scored more

I hope we don't sell him in January.

I don’t think he’ll leave in January but no doubt we'll get big offers for him next summer

Striker Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s best players so far this season but he picked up a booking yesterday and will be suspended from the game at Molineux next Saturday

Lookin forward to the Bournemouth game. Not sat in the Steve bull lower before

Ipswich getting a draw against Man Utd puts them on level points with us but thanks to our 4-1 win yesterday we have the better goal difference.
As the table stands tonight our next four games are against the four teams directly above us in the league. A chance for us to climb a little
