Hes capable of big results, the Spurs side has been for decades now. Enough dangerous players and enough money spent under Ange too 450m euros already? Issue he has is consistency, up and down. Especially crashing out of cups weakly and early etc.

Still after the negative football from some recent managers surely hes a breath of fresh air and worth sticking with? Also your owners seem to like him enough to invest heavily, been pumping the money in.

450 euros . Some creative rounding up there.

We are at home against Fulham next, keep your powder dry until after that game.

Why not just celebrate today's win
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because a season isn't one game and I was responding to the opposition article.

We have been more Spursy this season than ever. Fulham lose 1:4 and play us next.

If you are not concerned, fair play.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Delighted to be miserable when we lose.

Never celebrate a win with the same energy.

That's what you do.

I believe we are saying well done and credit where it’s due.

The issue as always is consistency, there’s no point getting a result like this if it’s followed up by a poor performance and result against lesser opposition the very next game. We have to BUILD on these results.

Plus it’s natural to be happy after a win and critical after a defeat, it’s all honest emotions.

Great result today. But let's not forget we lost to Ipswich at home.

Enjoy today, I am. But don't forget we have alot of work to do

posted on 23/11/24

As bad as Ipswich was, I’d take today + the Ipswich result than beat Ipswich and lose today like we expected

posted on 23/11/24

Good result, but if you are beating Man United 3-0, Manchester City 4-0, Aston Villa 4-1, West Ham 4-1 then you should be challenging for the title, and Spurs are clearly not.

Loved the performance, but that Ipswich result was tragic last weekend.

Still think Spurs should be concentrating on the cups. Roma is a massive match.

Not at all concerned, just enjoying the football after all the pragmatic years of Mourinho and conte, if this manager is backed properly we will win more than we loose and that will satisfy me

Needs to leaven how to beat Ipswich and Palace, otherwise tonight is pointless.

My problem is that even when we win, with some there is always a caveat. Even your response above is , yeah good to win but.....

When we lose there is no caveat, there is just 100% criticism....talk of the manager being changed, not making it to Christmas etc

As I said above some really do have much higher energy in their attack of players manager owners than the energy they celebrate an absolutely amazing victory.

What you are saying is that we should have basically won every game since Arsenal.

Some times you drop points and sometimes we really earn unexpected point like today. It doesn't deserve such catastrophic reactions to dropped points.

That said it is very frustrating that 3 more points and were right up there, it's just the OTT response from some that is so unnecessary.

To be fair if Spurs had lost today, as most predicted, the manager would have come under hugh pressure. This win is great. But they need to follow it up by beating Roma, Fulham and Bournemouth.

I avoid the match thread as it's infested with bedwetters.

But when I then come on and see the 'yeah but' response to City's first home loss in 2 years. Any 4 nil win is awesome and me and my boys were dancing around the room in disbelief for about an hours after 3 nil went in.

I'll continue to call out the fickle.

Celtic & Ange fan here

For all the plaudits Spurs & Ange will rightly get, I feel inconsistency has dogged Spurs all season. No point in these 5 star performances if you can't eke out results against the teams (like Palace) in the lower half of the table.

It was a great result but I think it's too premature for the "I told you so"s. Supposing we now lose against Fulham?

Let's just wait and see if we can use this as a springboard to go on a good run. We've had enough of them already that haven't come to anything:

Great result and performance against United - Lose to Brighton

Great result and performance against West Ham - Lose to Palace

Great result and performance against Villa - Lose to Ipswich

Is this one going to be any different?

Absolutely. But we're a team.in development and Ange needs to show we can still progress, can learn from.mistakes and over come these issues.

That is happening. Last time we were 2 nil at half time was BHA and we backed off and lost. Not this time.

Last time out we lost a home banker. Let's see if we learn that lesson.

But in all of this, it doesn't happen over night. We learn and we develop. Face adversity and grow from it.

Some fans on here face adversity and turn on the team/manager quicker than blinking.
