I’m sure the club could come to an agreement just like they did with Phil Jones. The bloke is absolutely broken and has never fully recovered from that broken leg.

Damn...puts us in a bit of a pickle tomorrow with the back 3 selection...probably this:
De Ligt-Maguire-Mazraoui
Which isn't ideal.
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Surprise, surprise. Needs to be binned off in Summer. Been a great player for us but far too injury prone now.
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
He should meet up with Reece James ,they knew each other growing up at Chelsea, they would have a lot to talk about !

No need for the question mark in the title really

That account always gets line ups correct well before they are announced. We need a proper LWB.

Before he had the horrific leg break he didn't have fitness problems. Since they've been non stop.
I don't get why posters are so critical, I'm sure he wants to be fit and well.
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
If it's true then we should be OK with Maz, De Ligt and Barry tomorrow with Dalot and Amad as the wing backs.
It's a shame for Shaw but I'll always give him the benefit of the doubt as I don't think his desire can really be questioned seeing how he battled back from that horrible injury in Eindhoven.

Would he throw Yoro in from the start I wonder?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The season before that he missed c. 4 months, over 30 games, through 4 separate injuries - 2 hamstrings, 1 ankle, and 1 facial (??).
without any specific medical knowledge about him - which, presumably, no one on here has - it is nothing but a guess that every single injury he has had for the past 9 years is related to his one major one, and not, say, to him being a fat b@stard.
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
He's done now. He ain't coming back from this new setback if it's confirmed which I'm sure it will be soon.
Good job Erik Ten Hag didn't give our LB / academy player of the year away for peanuts to Benfica.....oh wait.
Amad being left in stands for Omari Forson last year and sold our only available left back at the time. It's almost like he had absolutely no idea what he was doing isn't it? 😂

Lucky for him he's not a horse, chose country over the team who basically paid him for not doing much much the last decade

Yeah it's left a sour taste in the mouth that. Obviously had no right to be called up by Southgate.
Him and Reece James may as well retire. Their bodies can't handle the physical demands quite clearly.

Shaw has confirmed it himself on his socials.
'a small setback' which probably means 10 weeks. 😂

Yup and imagine saddling the club with a 5y deal for him in 2023, its things like this why it's a good 3y before we can start turning this mess around

Luke Shaw has suffered a new muscle injury + will be out for a few weeks. Shaw says he is “devastated” + understands people being “frustrated” + “angry”.
“There is no one feeling that more than me at this moment.”
