Richie Barker said in the post-match interview on Tuesday that there would be changes to the team. I still haven’t decided if I was hallucinating when I thought I saw Ozoh warming up with the squad. Maybe it was wishful thinking but might he be a surprise inclusion on the bench?

We look better to me with two up front and our wingers aren’t dynamite enough to demand their inclusion. Maybe we will freshen up at wing back and maybe Tommo might need a rest.

Maybe at home PW will favour four at the back in which case at least one winger would be sensible. The obvious one for me would be CBT and I don't care how average he may be during training. Lots of top players from the past were not good trainers, eg Jimmy Greaves but he scored goals and CBT looks well capable of doing just that. On the other hand there's no point in putting him on the wing only then to starve him of the ball. NML looks jaded to me and needs a break. Harness is supposed to be a winger but does he have enough pace? He does, however seem to be another who has goals in him and I would put him in over Jackson any day.

I thought Yates looked a bit jaded at Burnley - not surprising really and it seemed hard to take Brown off who did really well, in effect on his own as Yates seemed a bit off.

Interesting times.

I think the Jimmy Greaves/CBT comparison is possibly a stretch but we live in strange times...........

Can't argue with anything Chicago says.

Two up top gives one of those two a lot more space.

Simples innit.

I wasn't trying to elevate CBT to the same level as Greavsie. You don't have to rush around like a maniac in training to justify selection, is my point.

Mornin’ y’all

MATCH DAY!!!!!!!!

Well, we arrived back in UK last night - ironically in Portsmouth. I missed the Burnley game due to travelling back from Spain.
As Jorvick and I said the other day before I left Mojacar....we're due some luck...because despite playing well (in parts)... the only luck we've had of late has been bad luck.
Anyway Mrs H and I travel up to Derby this morning and whatever deficiencies the current squad has...let's get behind them and the Manager. Cheers. Terry. UTR

A breezy, moonlit evening in the Hebrides, a tang of The Glenlivet in the air.........

In South Yorkshire it is dull and cloudy as it has been all week. Sunshine tomorrow though albeit chilly as well.
To state the obvious we really need a win tonight. Those 6 points we lost against Swansea and Wednesday have cast a damper on our season. A hard fought draw against Burnley has lifted the mood slightly but we will sink back in to the slough of despond with another home defeat.

I had a case of the Geminids but they did clear up. The key is plenty of liquids and fresh air.
