Or should that be Scouso? đ¤ˇâď¸

It has always made me laugh that football fans refer to players by a name often ending in “o” as if they know them personally, for example Collo for Collins. Could it be that they are unconsciously wanting to latinise the names. Perhaps in a previous life they were Romans or attended an English public school. Maybe this is proof of reincarnation.

I prefer the Z.

I prefer the 'y'
Colly, Cashy, Fozzy, Yatesy etc
posted 4 days, 3 hours ago
Very 1970s
Mines more in tune with Gen Z

Just go full Scouse and shorten a long name, but elongate a short one.

Colly, very seasonal if there are 4 of them. Cashy would play for Villa, Fozzy of course made his name on the muppets before signing for Derby.

Good newz. Leeds equali(z)e with a 93rd minute own goal vs Pre(z)ton to keep us 14th.
Behave View, its nearly Christmas!
I didn’t twig at the time (and neither did the ref) but I have seen discussion on the lesser site about the comedy moment at 4-0 where there was a back-pass which Jackson nearly intercepted but instead dummied, fooling their keeper. It trickled towards the line but he just clawed it away. Assuming that Jackson made no contact with the ball it should have been given as an indirect free kick to us and the keeper sent off for preventing a certain goal.

Basic courtesy, reading the whole thread. Worrying slip in standards.

Mea culpa. Possibly the only time in his existence that Scouse has made a noteworthy comment and it passes me by.

So, Southampton........ could they?
posted 2 days, 19 hours ago
Only if they keep Russell Martin.
posted 2 days, 18 hours ago
Yes, they could ... but do we really want them to?

They're 1 point behind where we were after 16 games, but have a better GD.
Saints P16, 5 points, -25 GD
Rams P16, 6 points, -32 GD

Well he’s got the boot now which presumably Scouse mentioned a couple of hundred comments ago. Reckon our record is safe for another hundred years or so.
