(Google is your friend this story) So us highlanders do a lot of hill walks. There is the one walk around the queens ballater estate, which incorporates Loch Nagar/Loch Muick which is just awesome.

We were walking to one of the bothys there (Gelder Shiel) which is right in the middle of the estate and right beside one of the Royal families property. The people I was with one was part of a bothy association or something and told us this:

So one year they had walked to the bothy and slept there overnight. They then walk out in the morning and go to wash their dishes in the local stream passing one of the estate houses which is like 50m away, upon walking past they see Prince Charles cooking a BBQ and he is like ‘ooh errr high guys what are you doing here’, they explain pleasantries then our of nowhere a security guard runs up to them and asks them how they got there as they had done a 200m sweep of the perimeter and had bodyguards stationed so that nobody crept up on them. My mate was like ‘well we slept at the bothy just beside the building last night’the security guard looked mortified that they hadn’t checked a building 50m away from where the royal family where staying

Apparently on the walk back they saw queeny driving past on a Range Rover peering over the steering wheel like Mr Magog

She was in the carriage at royal ascot with the president of an African country and one of the horses farted
It was honkin and the queen apologised
The president said “ no need to apologise and if you had t said anything I’d have thought it was one of the horses”

I had a video call meeting at 9am with our owners over in Ireland.

Basically saying if we aren’t open and fully operational by June we’re facked, that’s very unlikely because even by a miracle this is blown over by then our stock comes from Italy and our factory is bare right now.

I’m in my burgundy bath robe whilst she is at work
A few more of their staff have been furloughed but she is getting furloughed on the 11th May
now either they know something we don’t (they are a medical company tbf) or I’m hoping she won’t need to go on furlough in another months time

Started getting a friction rash in the groin from ‘pineapple sack’ when it grows back slightly so stopped shaving the Jacobs and now have a little sad sporran dangler.


In work related news yes couple of weeks ago I think
Was relieved not to have to continue to get the zombie buses full of snotters and splutterers
Amazingly my precautions seem to have worked
I’d already started being more cautious in January
Didn’t want to take any chances

Good that the buses are virtually empty now tho
I was getting a bit nervous abaat it all if I’m honest
Shopping was the worst for me tho

Actually amazed I didn’t catch it in those three months
I had to make my own company aware of it

No, I think they get PAID tax!

I feel like my current mindset towards Covid is.

It isn’t as bad being made out, it’s probably going to be seen as a bad flu in a couple of years time. I anticipate I may be wrong.
