Trump is supposedly relaxing the isolation during Easter and with her being relaxed over the whole situation I wanted to know if she was preparing any get together etc.

Also tbf to her. We flew over for a visa application, (cost 4K ffs <way> then we got over there we aren’t able to make an appointment. So we both got stranded a bit and it’s so tough to call any authority to get guidance. We’ve ended up making the decision to fly them back and then continue asking questions, even if it means I lose all that money.

We are both the kind of people who would apply hand sanitiser when getting off the tube anyway so it’s fine. On the flight over we basically scrubbed every inch of everything and did on the way back as well.

My hands still have no oil in them for the amount of washing and scrubbing I was doing
Fun to do the washing up with your shopping as well

Will be interesting to see how long the virus has been around and if we already had it. There was a horrendous virus going around last Christmas that badly affected my sister mother son and wife

Yeah there was talk it was already there in November which skews the timeline and maybe even the ground zero of it all.
I can see big changes coming.
I’d like to see practical intelligent ones like smart buttons for transport and that as well as the loss of liberty ones that will no doubt be rolled out in due course...

Facial recognition may get a lot more widespread and acceptable in the name of prevention but that’s a real Pandora’s box

Do we really need to be more precautious day to day? I just think we need to be able to react better. Germs are good on the most part

How could you practically make changes to avoid germ spread ?
I would say buttons on the floor so you step on them instead
But you’d get the usual caants pressing it a million times or some donut foot tapping away at trance music and annoying everyone
Suppose you could program it so it only sounds once

Trains are easier anyway as they stop at every station they’re supposed to

I think quite a few people (myself included) won’t be treating anything as resembling normal for a fair while yet.

Eg we were talking last night about when the lockdown is over and I would defo still take precautions until I can get a jab

Will be interesting/scary to see how this thing goes. Season flu jabs are pointless, will there be a season Covid going forward?
