I feel like my current mindset towards Covid is.
It isn’t as bad being made out, it’s probably going to be seen as a bad flu in a couple of years time. I anticipate I may be wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I think it’s bad.
Drowning in your own fluids is an awful way to go.
It is as bad as is made out
It’s probably worse but that’s all about the lack of healthcare in all countries and what they prioritise instead of people. Hence the lockdowns to slow the spread and with it the strain on the health system.
The mortality rate is higher etc
But I think you’re right in the sense that it may just become another strain in the years ahead that you get a jab for or call your boss and say ‘can’t come in today I got a touch of the covids’
I think it’s both.
It is bad right now because we can’t do anything about but hope your body can fight it but in future once we have a way to fight it then yes it’ll just be another flu we deal with

Yeah the novelty is probably why it’s a struggle for our bodies. I assume that’s why East Asia seem better suited as maybe their immune system has memory from SARS related stuff?
Also apparently all deaths if the person has Covid are recorded, even if it is a brain aneurysm.

Good to hear
No idea when we will come out of lockdown but it will probably be based on economical reasons
Then there’s the prospect of a second wave and another lockdown
We should have locked down earlier, and it should have been made clear that anyone flouting it is facked.
We should have closed the airports or at least attempted to screen people or make them all go in quarantines.
Loads of other things we could have done better and quicker really
