I doubt I'd have the fitness. I'm a determined booger at things like that, but even if I could find the strength and could handle the altitude I'd tear a muscle or something on day 1.

I did take a quick look yesterday though at what was involved, and the costs put paid to that. Even with a partner, you're looking at minimum $2k each, and I ain't got a partner. There's no way I'm throwing £2k+ at it.

Respect to anyone who achieves it though.

Am heading to the Usambara Mountains for a few days though which should be good. Some great views and birdlife etc apparently, plus get to see some village life.

There’s a good documentary on a Netflix (I think) of a bunch of people with limbs etc missing attempting it. Took them 10-12 days I think.

The Queen's diction really has become terrible recently. Dropping h's left right and centre. It's like she's been on a course led by Beth Rigby.

Great speech otherwise by Her Maj.

The diversely performed hymn at the end is possibly the most cringe thing I've ever seen though.

Could just easily tell it wasnt the queen but they used actor(s) and CGI to relay a message that looked semi-believable. The lack of any expression in the forehead/hair is what is worth looking at.
