A woman got on and sat next to him and then abducted him at the next stop. Oh well. He seemed happy enough.

@blarmy - I still work for my current job for a while

@4za - we’ve had this discussion probably a million times but Baltimore. Chinese food in the U.K. is terrible.

@galvin - thanks dad. Yes a yank probs

@J - ta I’ll still be on here likely and know a bunch of people across the pond already so it’ll be an easy enough transition

averaged £95 a day while away so far. should be about £65. had $300 nicked at some point, very likely the last hotel i was in.

posted on 3/1/22

wait, no it's only $100

Your lack of consistency in currency is confusing

I reckon I've spent £94 a day. Of that though, £285 or around £16 a day has been connected to flights.

So in terms of living allowance that works out at £78 a day, which isn't MASSIVELY bad. Even though most of the places I've been, most people get by on a few dollars a day. £78's not bad for me. And it includes $100 someone nicked somewhere (probably my last hotel).

€78 seems a lot. Do you smoke a pack a day?

So I've got a £ column, a $ column and a shillings colomn.

I came here with some £ and some $. I've changed some of both of those into Sh. I've also withdrawn (effectively) £s in the form of Sh, and made some online purchases in £.

I'm also about 3/4 asleep tbf.

£78 is a lot. No, I don't smoke any more.

My average hotel's been £34 a night, so £44 a day basically on food and transport. And 2 hats, and a couple of day trips.

around £8 a day has been on long distance travel (Excluding flying) and day trips. Approx £1 a day has been spent on hats.

So that leaves around £35 on food. Which is jolly high considering some days I've almost eaten nothing.
