Bales/Tbaggy my good pal who moved to Vancouver under a year ago was out in the lakes for his birthday the other day. Looked incredible especially with the weather, you get nice stuff like that as well here but it doesn’t seem as crisp as it is over there.

It is really nice, it's just expensive and very busy. I have some days where living here wears me down a bit then others where I feel really lucky.

Same in any big city tbf

Oh yeah how was it? I was actually at Alice Lake a few weeks back but we were with our mates who have a baby so couldn't do the trail unfortunately.

Not done the gondola either, swear the cable has been cut most of the time I've been heregood?

Yeah lovely trail around the lakes. Busy as heck but we got there early so wasn't too bad till we got back.

I'm not ashamed to admit it's a bit unsettling going up - that's one frigging steep climb. Lovely views up the top and there's a bar and everything which actually isn't extortionate. Worth a touristy day out with someone from out of town I'd say. Plus Shannon falls is right there. Do both of them in one day and it's nice

Yeah Edin some of them are incredible, especially if you go at the time of year where you get that crisp sunshine but still some snow on the mountains.

Bales, was floating around on Cat Lake on Saturday so would have been relatively close by

Not that I'm aware of Edin, only guy I know was there outside of the group I went with was a Brummie called Jack and an Irish fella called Niall, but I think one's been here ages and the other only a few months
