Someone who is finally earning their bread is Harry Winks. Played 30 times for Leicester so far this season amd been subbed off only once.

28yrs old. Best season of his life.

Tiger bread is grate but I get a bit bored of it after a while.

Sainsbos does an olive and rosemary bread thing which is literally life. I could eat that with butter for about 3 days.

Hes a quality player, I've always been a fan of his. Just doesnt have the defensive quality to make it for a top 8 PL side.

Who drops out for Lo Celso assuming everyone is fit from the last match day.

Højbjerg or Skipp?

Skipp

Hojbjerg can be handy at seeing out games from the bench. Hes a player who usually gets worse as a game goes on when he starts.

Skipp just seems to be making up the HG numbers him the squad tbh. capable of a decent game, probably a better passer than Hojbjerg but thats about it

I agree but Højbjerg isn’t going to be here next season but Skipp is so we should be using him more

That's the most middle class comment ever

skipp shouldn't be here next season either

I don't know how to feel about Skipp. I would sell if a really good bid came in but not try to push him out

posted on 12/2/24

if the plan is for bergvall to be around the first team and be like a 7th choice CM then Skipp will either be a 6th choice (play more than he should) or an 8th choice (never play)

sell

Skipp is on thin ice Lack of HG numbers may save him.

Think Skipp probably should be moved on but can’t see it happening for another season or two

posted on 12/2/24

20m plus I think we say thanks very much and let him go. But even 6/7th choice is a couple of injuries away from getting decent minutes if we have Europe next season. Always available, never a disaster on the pitch really.

£20m we’d be buzzing to get that much for him

posted on 12/2/24

Obvs. Replacing him would be that much though right? Wharton for example - higher potential maybe but higher risk. I could see him starting regularly for a Brentford or Forest

Wharton went Palace to join to join Eze and Olise in the physio room.

We have a Devine right?

I was shaking when I wrote that and I stuttered 🤡

Wharton is injured already? Dang. Whatever the debate about Devine's best position I don't see anyone suggesting he's a B2B/number 6

Wharton not injured but give him time. Devine is midfieder. There are no 6 or 8s according to Ange 🤷🏻‍♂️

Some of my random musings from yesterdays game:

1. Lamptey is a shocking defender, Werner didnt do much and beat him comfortably multiple times

2. Mitoma has such a nice first touch

3. I think a few people missed it, but we definitely made a tactical tweak yesterday at HT where the widemen (often kulu) would drop deeper and we would have the 8 running outside the CB in lots of space. Happened 4/5 times that half.

4. I didnt think Richy was as bad as people made out

Richarlison was that bad in the first 15 minutes. But I reckon that was at least partly due to good work by Brighton

Ange has done that before with the number 8s init? I remember Skipp spending a whole game running past Kulusevski
