Sancho started well at Chelsea

Chelsea have a legitamately good forward line.

Sancho is decent, Madueke is good, Cole Palmer is exceptionally ridiculously good, I was saying to someone IRL that Jackson reminds me of Adebayor in that he is a bit of a donkey but gets so many chances/goals/opportunities.

Then Neto is also quality, Nkunku is decent enough off the bench.

surely one of the 9 they have should be capable of not single-handedly stopping them

wouldnt take anyone from their team in ours except the forwards, Palmer and a winger i guess

But they have much better depth.

I think you overrate them a bit, their midfield is poor as is their defence.

I think the structure is a bit all over the place as well. Individual performances are masking over the results a fair bit as well.

I think there midfield is perfectly fine just been mismanaged.

Defence might need some work though.

Nah Caicedo really lacks a lot of basics, I'm not high on him at all and I dont think Enzo is much of a Jorginho upgrade tbh.
Lavia is quality but one of the biggest injury crocks in the league.

If Cole Palmer gets an injury, which I don't think he would as he doesn't look like an injury prone, I think there structure gets exposed a bit.

Do we think there is any coincidence about our two best performances coming when Son isn't LW?

i totally agree, have you found out if we can bin Werner in Jan yet? not sure we would anyway cause we stupid

replace him and Richarlison with two top wingers things look pretty different

even if Son left too, i know most people will be upset, but need to move on eventually. don't think Son is a great captain either, just a wholesome individual

wonder if Johnson can upgrade from meh though, hes been pretty good last 4 games and scoring, close to 2 very early on yesterday

I think Ramsdale would have been a good signing for Chelsea.

Maresca is quite a boring defensive coach from what I've gathered, possession for the sake of it. So they don't concede as many as they used to but they've still got lots of attacking talent so will score goals despite him.

Think it's enough to get them competitive but they'll have too many off days and be found out by better teams.

Okay.

I think yesterday he would’ve scored but I definitely don’t think he’s the LW he used to be hence why all summer I wanted two top wingers. One for each side.

The prices clubs are asking with PSR clamping down made it impossible for lots of deals to happen IMO.
