After Chris tried to derail a very good win for us by bullying Bentancur, I'm still buzzing after that result.

One nil down against a very good Villa team who were fresh after making 10 ten changes from midweek, we ripped them a new one.

Always a bonus when SolanKane gets on the scoresheet as well. Especially after some mug in the thread said he wouldn't get double figures lol.

he might be the best line breaking passer from CB I've ever seen

doesn't have the long range passing of a vvd but yeah in terms of playing through midfield he's unbelievable

just trying to be positive after you accused me of bullying a different player for criticising him

who do you think is better? bare in mind I'm taking specifically about line breaking passes from CB and for most of history that's not really something that CBs were asked to do

Kulu this season been great but continuing from last season to Porro easily been our most consistent player

Really improved his defending too

Chris will be straight on the basic comments when we lose to Ipswich next

I don't know about line breaking but the following defenders come to mind for their passing ability :

Ferdinand, Baresi, Pique, Van Dyke, Hansen, Kompany, Terry, Koeman, Neil Ruddock(lol but knew how to ping one). Dias,

yeah some good passers there, some others who's passing is more about raking diags rather than playing through the lines. It's just not hyperbolic to say that Romero is unusually good for a CB at that specific skill.
