Amorim won’t make it to next season

I know the results haven't been great but, in general, I don't think we've been walked through quite like we were previously. Once we get the right profile in for the wing back positions I'm hoping that those in the other positions will have been well versed in what they need to do. We do seem to be OK getting the ball out wide it's just that we have no threat there.

As for the present I really wouldn't be averse to shopping in the lower leagues for an forward forward that fits the profile we want. Someone that'd jump at the chance of playing for United and give it 100%. Same goes for the wing back position too if we can get them.

For the time being though I think at least one of the wing back positions should be occupied by an attacking player although I could understand a more defensive mindset at Anfield, of course.

I think you’re being very naive if you think 6 months of continuous losses will lead to anything but a sacking

----------------------------------------------------------------------
We won’t be relegated, and I hope to god that Ratcliffe isn’t dumb enough to abort yet another project under any other circumstances.
------------------------------------------------------------

Of course it's a possibility but it would be a decision that would eclipse everything previously made at the club in terms of stupidity. Not only that and more to the point I don't think ineos could afford another managerial sacking
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Between sacking ETH, to hiring Amorim, to sacking him, would cost the club £30-£35m.

Would be some achievement all within 6 months.

Doesn't bear thinking about. I have to believe we wouldn't be so stupid.

But if we do sack him, I think next time we should go down the player manager route. I nominate Maguire.
