Dalot is a mess on the left - both going forward, and he'll get skinned by Salah. I'd rather Mazraoui there.

Dalot is there because I want Mazraoui at RCB. Yoro is quite quick so he can help v Salah. Also, it means it can switch to a back four pretty easily. I think Mazraoui combines quite well with Amad too.

It's going to take a massive effort. We know that. However, teams have had some joy against Liverpool this season in spells.

I had a feeling we'd win the Cup Final against the odds. I have a strange feeling today too but it's mostly dread!

Wouldn't it be good if at 6.30pm we're actually very surprised (in a good way) about a United performance?

Be incredible to win there and shut them up for a week or so. Although a win would only take us up to 11th so it's hardly make or break for us.

I just want us to turn up and compete for every ball. If we lose then so be it. They are better than us right now so it's expected.

If we lose by 5 or more then serious questions need to be asked of these players. Teams with less quality than us haven't lost by 5 there.

If some united players can’t get themselves up for this game then they’ve no business being at your club

I’d definitely take 1-0 if it was offered now but as long as we don’t start sluggishly I think we can get a comfortable result.

Even when United were the best in the Prem I would have always bitten your hand off for the win v Liverpool even when they were at their worst.

I suppose what Liverpool did have then, that we don't (or not seen anyway) were players that would give it absolutely everything even though they were inferior.

Yoro is young and played very little. To place him as left sided CB when he's not used to playing there is risky imo. Evans if he's available would be the better choice, he's experienced playing there, two footed and can support Mazraoui who plays LWB for me.

I'd be open to Yoro on the right side of the 3 with De Ligt or Maguire in centre. De Ligt would be more mobile in the centre out of the two though.

Absolutely. Any sensible supporter would take that any day of the week.

In a funny kind of way I think we'd both be quite happy if the game went with United dominating and making chances but Liverpool nick it 1-0. Us with the performance and you with the result!

I'd be quite happy for Bruno to make full-time without getting sent off.

Thing is I will sound like hafi here buy game versus Newcastle you had 2 clear chances and none taken. Yes you were getting out played but even then those chances were massive.

I really do think it will be a close affair. We are slow starters and if united were to get that first goal I think it will ve a frustrating game for lfc

Yeah this. Some of our fans are just afraid of being confident because of this place. Fact is, if we don’t win by 2+ goals then we’ve had a proper off day. That’s not arrogance, just a true reflection of where both teams are right now.
