I think a few loan deals was all we were ever going to do this window.

Only bits I have watched him play are for France where he looked a handful but with no end product.

He has regressed rather than building on his red hot form in Germany. I don't know why. But he hasn't been at PSG for two years, unless we're saying that Ugarte and Zirkzee have been at United for one year.

I've never been very impressed with Vlahovic. Not sure he has the mobility to be the CF in the Amorim system.

Yep; that’s what he did at Sporting. He had Slimani, then Paulinho, then Gyokeres up top. Big, strong, powerful runners.

And in behind and out wide pacier and more agile players like Pote (who is legit tiny), Edwards, Araújo, Quenda, Trincao, Morita and Catamo.

He isn’t going to play a Jota or Diaz up top (or anywhere, tbh).

I feel the same, even if it's a loan deal btw. I mean, what's the point of having these forwards when they lack pace, offer nothing different to what we have already, and don't chip in with a reasonable rate of return with goals.

Fabrizio's usually on the ball. And tbf if we're buying anyone in January it'll be a LWB.

I can only see us loaning a striker not buying one. And even that is unlikely.

Seems more likely that his one season in Germany is the outlier.

Struggling to score goals in France for PSG doesn’t reflext well on a striker.

I'm assuming any loan deal would come with an obligation to buy, in which case I'd pass. I'd be surprised if it doesn't.
