TCD we've been selling players for the past few seasons and still won the league. Can you know see that. Start looking inwardly at your own club!!

And buying £4m strikers at the same time...

That will stop...Whyte has stated that you will have to look to Murray Park for players.

As for Celtic...we've sold two teams in the last 5 transfer windows

Guys, if you read my previous link on this tax case by an independant source then you will realise that the outcome is by no means certain.

I didn't see the bit about the Rangers case...

My guess is you think he will do a runner ..... dont know why just a Hunch

Not a runner...just the handover of a 'clean' Rangers to the new owner and with his hip pocket suitably stuffed..

whyte the rangers fergus mccann?

No that wont stop TCD.
If you buy for £4mill & sell for £10mill, that's good business.

And where did that get you?

In a kind of Fergus way you mean....

If he can find anyone to buy then fine.

I did hear King was lurking in the sidelines....

I have to assume both were better than the current lot?

Fergus was a businessman...Whyte is a vulture...

I've skimmed it Gazza...couldn't see any reference to Rangers...

Mexican, Me thinks thou doth protest too much.
Surely you would prefer your team to win the league under their own steam & not via the efforts of HMRC?

posted on 7/11/11

i don't think anyone would pay £10m when they know you need the money. That is if you need the money at that point. How has jelavic been doing this year anyways? Haven't watched you a lot

It didn't seem to bother you...why should it us?

Yes we did see a debt reduction, you pointed out yourself that Rangers were £82million in debt. Now Whyte has cleared the debt, the only cloud is the tax case.

posted on 7/11/11

TCD, what about the nightmare scenario for you guys if we do go into administration & still win the league. Now that would be unbearable...........excuse the pun.

I'll be honest with you Gazza...I couldn't care less about the league this year...I have an increasing apathy towards football nowadays...After hearing the RA songs at last weeks Euro tie I don't think I'll be back at CP..I just want Rangers,if guilty,to do the right thing...

Whyte cleared £50m of yer debt...and then it rose again, despite those player sales.Only the Euro runs started debt reduction and not as much as it should have.

Why? Because as Whyte revealed...you're losing millions domestically

It's time to live within your means...like the rest of us

Mexican, it's not a criminal case (guilty/not guilty/not proven) although I admit reading some of these posts would lead you to believe that. Rangers will be liable for tax or will have no case to answer.
What would be the right thing if found liable?

That's exactly what we are now doing TCD.
And it looks like it's good enough.

posted on 7/11/11

To pay it, of course...but you won't/can't

The SFA should make an example of your club and that illegal transfer dealings will not be tolerated. To think that you can go down, not pay your dues, then pop up in the same position...is ludicrous

posted on 7/11/11

TCD, you are of course presuming the outcome of the case.........................................

On the other hand we could have no case to answer and continue to dominate domestic football in Scotland.
