A nice spot of casual sexism from Boris there.

Good way to try to win a debate.

Oh is this not the League one board

City won't crumble if they get knocked out of the champs league early. They won't need to rotate the squad (other than keeping the likes of johnson, kolo, savic and zabaleta involved) and they've got too many attacking options not to beat teams

"Last year though the league was completely different to this year"

And therein lies the first fatal mistake.

Is the league this season any different to any of the other umpteen that SAF has managed his team to eventual triumph ??

Boris,as a Butler I don't do the ironing the laundry maid does. Two penalties to beat Newcastle and you're crowing. I can see you know very little about the finer points of football.
Shaun, the fact that if you had so many chances and didn't put them away in itself is a touch worrying isn't it?

With a DNA sequence like that, how could I grow up to be anything other than what I currently am ??

I heading off, to do the ironing - absolutely true. Do all my work shirts on a Sunday night.

Didn't you lose the emirates cup this season (summer 2011) ??

The odds are on a Ceeeetaaay team winning. Chelsea can still do it .... if they get a decent manager .... like the Special One.
The long shot, if you want one, is not Spurs .... its Arsenal.

You seem to be backing both Chelsea and Arsenal over Spurs. Seems a bit strange considering Spurs have their best team in nearly 30 years.

Good job you are not giving the team talks at WHL.

By the end of Jan, City have already played, away and home to Spurs and Liverpool, away to Chelsea and Utd, home to Arsenal and Newcastle...

What are the difficult games left to fear for?

posted on 20/11/11

City are favourites and United are the only team that can stop them.

Spurs and Chelsea will get the remaining CL spots just ahead of Arsenal IMO with Liverpool comfortably in 6th.

Yes, Spurs have a very good team.
But if you've followed Spurs for as long as I have, you'll learn to expect ....... some bad luck.
We've had very good luck so far ... re ... the Fulham game.
Of course, if spurs stay healthy, they have a good chance.
Certainly top 4.

City are averaging just under 4 goals per game this season, I wouldn't think it a touch worrying that we are not putting our chances away.

Man united and chelsea both got their warnings early this season: Man utd have no DM and leave loads of space between the mid and def for teams to play in, Chelsea just push up high without pressing the ball and in the last month the chickens (not venkys) have come home to roost. Have to favour city

Komakino, not many teams maintain that sort of scoring rate and neither will you.

Just heard the Irish Time Team has discovered the headstone of Irelands oldest man. He was 193 and called Miles from Dublin...

Maybe maybe not.

But that wasn't the point of my comment though was it?

posted on 20/11/11

It might depend on who comes in Jan, if United get Wesley the midfield will greatly improve, but if it stays the same City will most probably win it. However United will take it to the last game as usual as they always find a way......we'll wait and see.

I wouldnt rule out Chelsea, and maybe Liverpool with no European distraction.

for the title???

back in the real world, none of those two have a prayer of winning the league.

we cant win it either in my opinion unless we buy some serious fire power in january and king stays fit all season

My point Komakino was that you needed 2 penalties to beat Newcastle and you were at home. It tells me that your forward line is losing effectiveness. Had they been missed it would have been 1-1 with Newcastle hitting the woodwork.
