I am honestly totally bemused as to how anyone can argue against it being a yellow..if it was a straight red then i could see how people could see it as harsh. If he hadnt been booked before i dont think anyone would even be mentioning it. Do you think its because at the end Joe Hart (who is an outstanding keeper) salvaged a point for them and all this deflects from that point???

No for two reasons.First reason the ball hit him on the hip and then hit his arm.. If it was straigh onto his arm then maybe.. Secondly there was defenders around.. Whos to say they wouldnt have prevented a goal scoring chance??.
